‘The Golden Bachelorette’ Suitor Pascal Ibgui Dresses Up as Joan Vassos for Halloween
On TV, Pascal Ibgui‘s time on The Golden Bachelorette isn’t over yet, but it has been quite a while since he was in production on the hit dating show. As one of Joan Vassos‘ suitors, he overcame his villain arc (because of his diva-like tendencies) in the early episodes. Now, he’s embracing jokester vibes by picking a very interesting Halloween costume.
No, he did not dress up as a ghoul, vampire, or any other typical Halloween character. Pascal decided to dress up as Joan! With a blonde wig, a golden dress, and a rose, he embodied the 61-year-old Golden Bachelorette lead. The Frenchman captioned his post with, “Pascal, will you accept this rose.”

Some of his followers thought that his topical costume was distasteful, while others found it hilarious. One person posed the question in his comments, “Are you making fun of Joan?” A debate followed, and one person stated, “It sure looks like mockery to me. It looks garish, certainly not flattering. I’m very disappointed in him.” Another wrote, “It’s a Halloween costume, lighten up! Playful fun.”
Pascal’s son Maxim weighed in on his dad’s choice of costume. “Absolutely,” Maxim wrote, insinuating that he would accept his rose. Joan has not responded to Pascal’s costume as of publication.
Clearly, Joan liked some of that humor, too, as Pascal is one of the final three men remaining. Going into the fantasy suites segment, Pascal traveled to Tahiti with Chock Chapple and Guy Gansert to try and win over Joan’s heart. The latest preview, however, hinted that there might be some trouble in paradise for the budding couple.
