Who’s Still Together From ‘Match Me Abroad’ Season 2? One Couple Announces Their Split
TLC’s Match Me Abroad Season 2 concluded on September 21, tying up the loose ends of the remaining five singles’ relationships. Now, breakout star Monica is setting the record straight on her relationship status.
Match Me Abroad follows a group of single Americans as they search for lasting love on an international stage. With the help of local matchmakers, Season 2 singles Amber, Harold, Monica, Sarah, Victoria, and Tony took to Brazil, the United Kingdom, and Singapore to broaden their dating horizons.
From a jaw-dropping love triangle conclusion to late-night ghosting, it’s safe to say that this season finale did not hold back on any of the dating drama. During the finale, each dater concluded their individual journey, reflecting on what they learned from their matchmaker and deciding if they would continue to pursue a long-distance relationship with their match. This had us wondering if we’d see any of these international couples appear on 90 Day Fiancé sooner rather than later.

Harold & Amber
Relationship Status: Split
Harold and Amber left Match Me Abroad Season 2 in a relationship. During the finale, Harold decided to extend his trip, promising Amber that he would take things slow. As Amber put it, “My distinction of light and love is how I feel when I’m with the person and how I naturally want to act with the person, and that’s why I feel like I want to have a relationship with you.” Harold then told viewers, “I’m feeling very confident in my relationship with Amber, that I can be the man that she wants, and I can’t wait for her to come visit me in Texas.”
At the end of the episode, TLC revealed, “Amber ended things with Harold shortly after his return to the U.S.” He is currently single.
Monica & Bernardo
Relationship Status: Split
After a season of deliberation between Bernardo and Bruno in Brazil, Monica ended up with Bernardo. However, in October, Monica shared, that she and Bernardo are “not together.” However, they remain the best of friends and chat at least once a month. Since then, Monica has met someone in the U.S., so she confirmed that she is off the market!
When she decided to end the show with Bernardo, Monica stated, “After Bruno left, I realized I have no time to spare. I texted Bernardo and told him about the breakup and asked him to come by, and he texted me back faster than ever before and said that he could come over.” In the finale, the couple agreed to get better at texting each other throughout the day and planned to meet up again in California. Monica even promised to “personally” get him there, offering to pay for his travel. In an exclusive interview with Swooon, Monica teased her relationship status, saying, “We’re a year past and everybody’s well, so that’s all that matters.”
During the finale, TLC revealed that Monica and Bernardo are making long-distance work. According to the network, “He’s been taking more of an initiative with communication.” As for Bruno, he is “single and still looking for his true match.”
Amber & Keavan
Relationship Status: Split
Amber and Keavan left the season off on a hopeful note, reuniting after Amber’s falling out with her other match, Glenn. She admitted, “Keavan might be the love of my life after all.” On September 22, Amber revealed on Instagram that she is pregnant. However, she did not share who the father of her baby is. She told her followers, “What a blessing! This year was the best year of my life after finding out I was going to be a Mom. Thank you to all my family, friends, and show viewers that saw me out for keeping my pregnancy private 🙏🏽.”
According to Amber, she stopped hearing from Keavan after she returned home. However, Amber “DID hear from someone she had worked with briefly, and they started dating. And now 6 months later, she’s expecting.”
Sarah & EJ
Relationship Status: Split
Sarah and EJ left their relationship on a disappointing note. Sarah told viewers, “I really like EJ, and then had a great time getting to know each other. So I am still hopeful that we can continue working on this and figuring out how we can possibly make this work.” However, at the airport, EJ admitted that he had never been in a long-distance relationship, and seemed apprehensive about making it work. He shared, “I really do like Sarah, but the reality is we’re both in a space of, like, our life… So yeah, we don’t match.” As Sarah put it, “It was a weird goodbye… I’m feeling confused.”
As TLC put it, “Sarah and EJ did not speak again after their goodbyes.” However, “she’s now dating a doctor living in Houston who is originally from Guyana. She describes their relationship as nothing short of a fairytale romance.”
Victoria & Darren
Relationship Status: Still Together
During the finale, Darren dropped Victoria off at the airport, promising to come visit her in New York in a few months. Victoria shared, “I know it looks like we don’t like each other at all, that we, like, keep our space, but it’s different when we’re together.” She later indicated that they had even been intimate off-camera. That being said, Victoria admitted, “I think it’s too soon to say if Darren is the one or not, but he could be. Time will tell.”
After the show, Darren made good on his promise to visit Victoria in New York and they spent the holidays together. TLC shared, “Although they still don’t hold hands, there was a lot of kissing and they’re planning to meet up again in London.”
