Joey Lawrence & Wife Samantha Cope Reunite 5 Months After Divorce Filing
It turns out that Joey Lawrence and his wife Samantha Cope aren’t headed to Splitsville after all. Instead, a reconciliation is underway.
The couple’s separation was revealed in August 2024 when Cope filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” In the midst of the holiday season, they’ve decided to give their relationship another go.
The Brotherly Love alum just hard-launched their relationship by posting loved-up snapshots of the couple at the premiere of their new romantic comedy, Marry Christmas.
He stated, “I am beyond grateful 🤍I am beyond blessed🤍I am galaxies beyond thankful.” Lawrence also added, “My heart is so full ❤️.”

The first photo saw Cope’s hand resting on his chest while Lawrence’s arm was around her waist. Another picture featured a photo of the couple giving each other a peck, with the words “My forever after” written underneath.
The two share a daughter, Dylan, 1, together. Lawrence also has two other daughters, Charleston, 18, and Liberty, 14, with ex Chandie Yawn-Nelson.
Lawrence and Cope first split on June 7, 2024, but the split wasn’t public knowledge until August. At the time, there were allegations that the actor cheated on Cope with fellow Socked in for Christmas lead, Melina Alves.
The actor responded to the affair allegations as well as the divorce filing in a statement on his podcast, The Brotherly Love Pod: “This has been a multifaceted journey these four [or] five years. Actually, there was a lot of pain in that journey despite public perception and what it looks like [on social]. Life will move on and we will move through this. And my children will be at the forefront.”
Lawrence and Cope wed in May 2022, and have been together since 2020. They met on the set of Lifetime’s My Husband’s Secret Brother.
