When did Caroline Schwitzky appear on 90 Day Fiancé?

Schwitzky briefly appeared on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? as the talent agent of series regular Paola Mayfield. She can be seen in episodes from both Season 1 and Season 2. Fans will remember that it was Schwitzky who convinced Paola and her husband, Russ Mayfield, to move from Oklahoma to Florida to kick-start her modeling career.

What happened between Caroline Schwitzky and Cole Goldberg?

On April 24, 2022, Schwitzky and her then-boyfriend Cole Goldberg attended an annual Florida boat party called the “Boca Bash,” after roughly a year of dating. Goldberg was later charged with attempted murder and domestic battery for allegedly holding Schwitzky underwater at the party. The Palm Beach Post reported that witnesses in nearby boats claimed Goldberg held Schwitzky by the throat “in a complete rage” until someone intervened.

Goldberg’s lawyers have denied the accusations, saying that the judgment of the witness was “impaired by alcohol but taken seriously by responding officers who had never worked a domestic-violence case before.” Prosecutors offered Goldberg a plea agreement that included six months in jail, three years of probation, and a 500-word apology letter. He turned down the offer in favor of a bench trial.

What was the verdict on the Cole Goldberg trial?

According to TMZ, Goldberg was found not guilty of attempted murder after three days in court. The outlet reported that the judge said there was “too much inconsistency in witness testimony … and enough reasonable doubt to acquit Goldberg.”

Goldberg told the outlet, “I’m so glad the truth finally came out. I’ve been dealing with this since 2022, so it feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulder. There’s no resentment with Caroline, I just can’t believe she would ever think I could do something like that.” His lawyers continued, “We are all relieved and grateful that this four-year ordeal is over. We had every confidence in Judge Parnofiello’s ability to be fair to both sides of the aisle and to follow the law. Despite being a young judge, his sense of fairness, intelligence, and reputation for following the law is undisputed.”

What has Caroline Schwitzky said about the outcome?

In an interview with TMZ on April 15, Schwitzky told those following the trial, “I feel very bad about the system itself, the judge. I can’t believe that the judge, even with all those witnesses, he just allowed this kid to walk freely. It blows my mind, but it goes to show you that in this world, it’s not what you say, it’s what you can prove.” Going forward, Schwitzky has vowed to be an advocate for women facing domestic violence.
