‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Season 16: Shocking Returns & Everything Else We Know
The Real Housewives of Atlanta is returning with a bang. After months of promising that some icons are set to come back to the Bravo series, they can now assure the fanbase that they delivered! Unlike the complete reboot treatment The Real Housewives of New York received ahead of Season 14 in 2023, RHOA is bringing back some of their favorite housewives.
Since its inception in 2008, the Atlanta women have been making waves. They became one of the best installments in the franchise, and years later, they’re still giving Bravo fans riveting seasons of drama.
The audience had to miss them for a year in 2024, but don’t worry, Season 16 will be making up for it! The teaser dropped on January 30, and, boy, will it get the audience hyped!
With promises of “a whole new ATL” and “the shade is still shady, and the tea is still piping hot — if not hotter,” the new season is set to have a great run! Scroll down for the latest news about RHOA Season 16.
When will RHOA Season 16 premiere?
Not only is RHOA coming back on March 9, but the series will also treat you to a supersized episode. After that premiere, it’ll go back to its regular run time and schedule. One episode a week, every Sunday on Bravo, and streaming on Peacock the following day.
Who is returning for RHOA Season 16?
As previously announced, Porsha Williams is making her return to the series. She was last in the main cast during Season 13. She is not the only housewife returning. Drew Sidora is also coming back. Later in the season, RHOA icon Phaedra Parks will join the ladies, lauded for bringing “some extra sass and spice.”
The new housewives who will be introduced are Shamea Morton Mwangi, Brit Eady, Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley.
RHOA favorite Kenya Moore was set to come back as well but was ousted after she allegedly unveiled explicit pictures of newcomer Eady while the Bravo cameras were rolling at a cast event. It’s unclear how much of Moore will be seen in the season. She was present when production began in May 2024. The incident happened the following month.
A clip of the interaction made it into the trailer. Moore asked, “Who is this ho?” to the room.
Later in the trailer, the cast reacts to the moment, with Bailey stating that she “couldn’t go any lower.” Meanwhile, Eady is crying. She prompted, “She thinks that’s okay?”
Is Cynthia Bailey coming back for RHOA Season 16?
Yes! Cynthia Bailey will be on RHOA. Sadly, she will not be a full-time cast member. She’ll just be a “friend” in Season 16.
Bravo described her involvement, “The legendary Cynthia is back in the ATL as a friend and is always ready to lighten the mood when tensions arise. But as the voice of reason that this group needs, will she land in the middle of the drama?”
Will there be a RHOA Season 17?
There’s no official word out yet that RHOA will have a Season 17, but as one of the more successful installments it’s assumed that it will come back!
