Giannina Gibelli & Blake Horstmann Test Their ‘Love Is Blind’ & ‘Bachelor’ Franchise Knowledge (VIDEO)

The worlds of Love Is Blind and Bachelor Nation have collided! Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann didn’t find lasting love on Love Is Blind or The Bachelorette (and later Bachelor in Paradise), respectively, but they found it together when they crossed paths on All Star Shore.

The couple welcomed their adorable son, Heath, in April 2024, and Horstmann popped the question to Gibelli during a trip to Spain in November. When Gibelli and Horstmann stopped by Swooon, we had to get these two lovebirds to test their knowledge about Love Is Blind and Bachelor Nation.

Right away, the competitiveness and chemistry between Gibelli and Horstmann were crystal clear. They both knew Love Is Blind alum’s Jessica Vestal speech to Jimmy Presnell in the pods: “When you see and realize what you missed out on, you’re going to choke.” Horstmann was able to nab the golden goblet quicker, though. Gibelli had to give a shoutout to Vestal’s “great quote.”

Later, when the game got heated, Gibelli told her fiancé, “We’re so competitive, and I literally hate losing to you.”

When Swooon brought up the quote, “We’re kind of working like Benjamin Button. You know? We’re working backwards,” Gibelli immediately knew that it was said on Love Is Blind. “I don’t know who said it,” she said.

She was shocked to learn that she said the line in the first season. “I was gonna say, it sounds like something she said,” Horstmann admitted.

To end the test, Swooon threw in one of Hannah Brown‘s most iconic lines: “I f**ked in a windmill and guess what? We did it a second time.” Both Gibelli and Horstmann knew right away that the quote came from the Season 15 lead.
