‘Golden Bachelor’ Fan-Fave Leslie Fhima Reveals Surprise Connection to ‘Love Is Blind’ Contestant
Giannina Gibelli and Blake Horstmann aren’t the only two reality TV stars connecting Bachelor Nation with the Love Is Blind universe. The Golden Bachelor runner-up Leslie Fhima also has an interesting link to the Netflix franchise.
Hopping onto Instagram, Fhima revealed how she knows one of the Love Is Blind Season 8 cast members. The 67-year-old resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which is the same location the hit show takes place this time around.
But, no, she is not anyone’s aunt, mother, or friend. Fhima met one of them during a critical moment in her life — when she was in the hospital. She shared a photo of Sara Carton and wrote on her Instagram Story, “When you’re watching @loveisblindnetflix and you realize this beauty was your nurse last year.” She added at the bottom, “Love you so much @saracarton_”
Sara is one of the main stars of Season 8. In a relationship with the controversial Ben Mezzenga, they have become one of the most talked about couples of the season. They don’t align politically, and they also have a different outlook on their morals and values.
The last batch of episodes saw the two standing at the altar together surrounded by their family. The episode ended on a cliffhanger, with viewers not knowing whether or not Sara said “I do.” The answer will be revealed in the Season 8 finale, which will drop on March 7. The Season 8 reunion will air two days later on March 9.
