‘Temptation Island’ Host Mark L. Walberg Reveals Secrets Behind His 37-Year Marriage to Wife Robbi
On Temptation Island, host Mark L. Walberg is there to help guide struggling couples as they face temptation from sexy singles, and his own successful relationship makes him the perfect person for the job.
Walberg has been married to wife Robbi Walberg (née Morgan) since 1987. The two have made their marriage last for nearly 40 years, and Walberg has sound advice for others hoping to achieve the same.
“Do what your wife says. That’s a good one,” he told Swooon in an exclusive interview. “Here’s the thing, we got married before we knew what we were doing. We were really young. We loved each other. It was kind of a different time. We were like, ‘Well, I guess the next thing is you get married.’ So we got married.”

The game show host said “one of the things [he’s] grateful for” is that he and Robbi have grown up together. “Who my wife is now is not who I married,” he explained. “Who I am now is not the kid she married. So much of who I have become as a man is what she’s taught me, and so much of who she’s become is stuff I’ve been able to help her, coach her through.”
At the end of the day, though, the Antiques Roadshow alum said, “We’re just committed. We know we need each other. You know, we love each other, we like each other. That stuff’s a little fluid, but when the s**t goes down, there’s only one person on the planet that brings me comfort.”
He also credited “staying present” as a factor in their relationship’s success. “Navigating business and career, kids, and ups and downs and panics and all that stuff, when s**t gets sticky, you look across the table and there’s really one face that makes you feel better. I think that’s what we are for each other.”
Walberg was 26 years old when he and Robbi tied the knot and admitted that he feels like no time has passed. “She’s dancing three times a week. I’m playing basketball and golf and all the same stuff,” he shared. “We’ve grown each other up, and we’ve been able to remain kids. I think that’s what’s kept me young is that’s just how we get down.”
The longtime couple have two adult children.
