Get to Know ‘The Bachelor’ Alum Daisy Kent’s Boyfriend Thor Herbst
Daisy Kent was the runner-up on Joey Graziadei‘s season of The Bachelor in 2024. She ended their relationship at the final rose ceremony after realizing that he wasn’t validating her feelings for him in the same way that he was for Kelsey Anderson.
After becoming a fan-favorite on the show, Kent turned down the opportunity to become the lead on The Bachelorette. However, it didn’t take long for her to find her person. Just weeks after The Bachelor Season 28 finale aired in March 2024, Kent started dating Thor Herbst.

What does Thor Herbst do?
Herbst works as a management associate at his family’s company, Terrible Herbst Oil Company, according to LinkedIn. The privately held gas station company owns stations in Nevada, California, Arizona, and Utah. Herbst has been in this position since graduating college in 2021.
The Herbst family also has a passion for racing, and Thor races for the off-road, desert racing league SCORE International.
How did Daisy Kent meet Thor Herbst?
Kent and Herbst met while they were both students at San Diego State University. They both graduated in 2021 and briefly dated in 2020.
“We didn’t date for very long, but we were always really good friends after, and our whole college friend group is super close,” Kent revealed on the Scrubbing In podcast in May 2024.
She also admitted that Herbst was the one to end their college fling but said that it was “for the best” at the time. After Kent’s time on The Bachelor, Herbst was the one to reach out first when they rekindled things.
“I’m really happy in my relationship. It’s been so exciting and new and a really cool time in my life to experience with somebody, too,” Kent told TV Insider back in August 2024.
Where do Daisy Kent and Thor Herbst live?
In March 2025, Kent revealed that she and Herbst had moved in together. She confirmed that she moved out of her place in Los Angeles to live with her boyfriend in Las Vegas.
“We did a road trip with a bunch of my stuff from L.A. and then I flew up a couple days ago, brought a bunch more stuff, and then doing another road trip on, like, Monday or Tuesday, where I’m going to bring a lot more stuff,” she shared.
