Matt Warren Is Looking for Love on ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’: Meet the Season 3 Star

Farmer Wants a Wife is returning to Fox with its third season, and Matt Warren is one of the four farmers who’s looking for love this time around. He will meet eight women and narrow down the group to just one who will (hopefully) become his wife one day.
Season 2 produced two successful couples who are still together today, so there’s definitely a chance of this experiment working out. We’ll have to wait and see if farmer Matt finds the woman of his dreams.
For now, Swooon rounded up everything to know about the hunky farmer.
Where does Matt live?
After growing up in San Luis Obispo, California, Matt now lives in the nearby town of Morro Bay, California. Morro Bay is located on the central coast of the state.

“I’ve been around here for awhile, and as big as San Luis Obispo seems, it’s limited in my age bracket as well,” Matt told FresnoBee.com “So, I got approached for this opportunity, and you know, it’s like — this is a pretty unique way to meet women from all over the country.”
What type of farmer is Matt?
Matt is an avocado and exotic fruit farmer. He has a 132-acre avocado and exotic fruit farm in Morro Bay, as well as a second 70-acre farm in Visalia, California.
Unlike the other farmers from Season 3, farming does not run in the family for Matt. He is the only first-generation farmer on the show, although he’s often mistaken for a “seasoned pro,” according to his bio.
Before becoming a farmer, Matt worked in real estate. However, he decided to switch professions when his sister-in-law’s parents suddenly died. He joined forces with his brother and sister-in-law to take over their farm, which also grows coffee beans between the groves of the avocado trees.
Does Matt have kids?
Matt doesn’t have any kids of his own, but he’s a proud uncle to nine nieces and nephews. “We’re looking to grow this thing,” he captioned a family photo of himself with his brother, sister-in-law, and their three children.
Matt has also been open about wanting to be a dad one day.
