‘The Bachelor’s Grant Ellis & Juliana Pasquarosa Split 3 Months After Finale

Love didn’t last for Grant Ellis and Juliana Pasquarosa, his final pick on Season 29 of The Bachelor. The former basketball star got engaged during the show’s finale in March, but he and his final rose recipient have since broken up.
The former couple announced their breakup news on June 13. “It’s a gift to find someone who sees the world in a way that resonates with you, while also encouraging you to grow. I’ve been grateful to share that experience with Grant,” Pasquarosa wrote on Instagram.
She continued, “Marriage is a commitment, and it’s one we both still believe in deeply. After a lot of honest conversations and reflectio, we’ve come to the decision that this chapter of our lives is meant to be on separate paths. We shared something meaningful, navigating a unique journey side by side, learning, growing, and showing up for each other the best way we knew how. And while this isn’t the ending we once imagined, it’s one filled with muutal respect, care, and hope for what’s ahead.”
In his own post, Ellis said, “Juliana and I have decided to end our relationship. We both gave this our best and poured a lot of love into each other, but after a lot of deep conversations, we’ve come to the understanding that we’re simply not the right fit long term. What we had was so meaningful. The connection we built on the show was real. And so was the effort we made to continue once the cameras stopped rolling. There’s no negativity here. Just two people who care about each other and want the best for one another moving forward. I’ll always be grateful for what we shared and for the growth that came with it.”
Juliana and Litia Garr were the final two women on Grant’s season. He introduced both of them to his family in the Dominican Republic before going on his final dates one-on-one dates. When it was time to head to the final rose ceremony, Grant was still torn about what he wanted to do.
Although Grant was ready to get engaged, he was admittedly in love with both women, and still hadn’t made his final decision with just moments to go. In the end, Grant saw a future with Juliana, and she accepted his romantic proposal.

This breakup means the end of a streak for The Bachelor, as the final couples from the last two seasons are still together. Season 27 star Zach Shallcross proposed to Kaity Biggar, and they tied the knot in May. The couple decided to forego plans for a big wedding and use the money they would’ve spent on the reception toward buying a home instead.
Joey Graziadei and Kelsey Anderson from Season 28 are also still going strong. The pair moved into a new place in Los Angeles together at the end of 2024 and have said that they’ll start planning their wedding within the next few months.
Of all the Bachelor Nation shows, The Bachelor doesn’t have the best track record. Aside from the Season 27 and 28 couples, the only other final pair that’s still together is Season 17’s Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici. However, Jason Mesnick, from Season 13, and Arie Luyendyk, from Season 22, are both now married to their runner-ups, Molly Malaney and Lauren Luyendyk.
