Inside ‘Southern Charm’ Star Whitney Sudler-Smith’s Love Life: His Costar Hookups & More
Southern Charm Season 10 was riddled with relationship problems. From Shep Rose‘s fling with Sienna Evans to Craig Conover‘s final months with Summer House‘s Paige DeSorbo, the men of the show had some serious love issues to address.
One person who stayed out of all the drama was Whitney Sudler-Smith. The series creator often pops in for special appearances, and he’s always been much more secretive than his pals. Does Whitney have a girlfriend?
Yes? No? Maybe.
His mother, socialite Patricia Altschul, opened up to The Daily Dish and divulged what Whitney’s current relationship status looks like. She admitted, “He doesn’t like it when I talk about his, you know, who he’s seeing. I don’t know that anything is serious right now.” She later added, “I know there’s a contender, but let’s just wait and see.”
The 83-year-old is still optimistic that one day she’ll see her only son get married. Patricia is also adamant about Whitney becoming a father. She confessed, “I’m still hopeful, as long as I’m still breathing, I’m still hopeful.”
Who has Whitney dated in the past?
In the earlier seasons of Southern Charm, Whitney was known to sprinkle in a bit more of his lore for the viewers to see. Hooking up with Kathryn Dennis in Season 1, the two were connected even before she became entangled with his best friend, Thomas Ravenel. The relationship between Kathryn and Thomas imploded, and Kathryn alleged that she was intimate with Whitney again before the start of Season 6 in 2019. Whitney has denied this on more than one occasion.
The 56-year-old was in an on-and-off relationship with Austrian model Larissa Marlot for six years. They first met at a New York City party in 2013 and seemingly split in 2019. She occasionally appeared on the Bravo series. During a break from Larissa, Whitney was entangled with a model named Daisy, who also popped up on Southern Charm Season 4.
Whitney famously hooked up with Craig’s ex Naomie Olindo after his mom’s dog’s wedding in Season 8.
Has Whitney ever been married?
The eternal bachelor has never been married.
However, His mom has been urging him to tie the knot. In Season 9 episode, she stated, “I want him to get married now.” Patricia referred to her own marriages and joked, “I mean, I did it after a couple of minutes. I don’t know why he can’t.”
She continued, “I want Whitney to have a family.” But Patricia is well aware that her son can’t be rushed when it comes to love!
