‘The Life List’s Kyle Allen Would Join the ‘Fourth Wing’ TV Show Cast ‘Under One Condition’
Kyle Allen is making millions of Netflix viewers swoon in The Life List alongside Sofia Carson. He plays the adorable lawyer Brad, who helps Carson’s Alex Rose complete her childhood life list after her mom’s death.
At The Life List in New York City premiere, we asked the actor what he’s reading right now. Rebecca Yarros’ Empyrean book series has been living rent-free in all of our heads since the release of Onyx Storm, and Allen has caught on to the Fourth Wing hype.

“My friends have convinced me to read Fourth Wing, and I’m doing my best. I’m not even through the first book yet,” he told Swooon.
Naturally, we had to ask Allen who he’d play if he could cast himself as any character in the upcoming Fourth Wing TV series. “I think there’s someone who dies on the bridge in the beginning,” he quipped.
Well, we here at Swooon believe that Allen would make a great Dain Aetos. When we brought it up, the actor responded, “Thank you! Thank you very much.”
The Rosaline star was fully game to head to Basgiath. “I’ll ride a dragon,” he said before adding, “I will be part of that project under one condition, and it is if they have real dragons to ride.”
Prime Video might not have real dragons, but it’ll probably look like it on screen! The TV adaptation of Yarros’ bestselling novel is currently in development, with Moira Walley-Beckett (of Anne With an E and Breaking Bad fame) serving as showrunner.
None of the key players — Violet, Xaden, Dain, etc. — have been cast yet, but Josh Heuston continues to fuel rumors that he’ll be sexy wingleader who falls in love with Violet. (Take a look at the rest of our dream cast!)
