Jackie Howard’s (Nikki Rodriguez) adventures with the Walter family on My Life with the Walter Boys will continue this summer, and this journey is going to be quite the ride. On July 15, Netflix dropped the official Season 3 trailer, and don’t expect Jackie and Cole (Noah LaLonde) to have it easy. “I meant what I said,” Jackie tells him, referring back to her love confession. “But we can’t,” Cole replies. Oh, the angst!
Ahead of the season’s debut, Rodriguez teased to Tudum that “so much happens in the first episode,” which has us simultaneously excited and scared. “For the first time, this season [Jackie] does start to put herself first.”
Shortly after Season 2’s premiere in August 2025, Netflix confirmed that Jackie’s love triangle with brothers Cole and Alex (Ashby Gentry) would continue in Season 3. At long last, we finally know when we can dive back into the drama after that shocking cliffhanger. Season 3 picks up after Alex overhears Jackie and Cole’s love confession, as well as George Walter’s medical emergency. The official synopsis reads: “The Walters realize what’s important in the fallout from this – and discover that it’s okay to go after what you want,” says the season’s logline. “With their love lives still hanging in the balance, Alex turns to his new rodeo riding team, and Cole gets back in the driver’s seat of his life, literally, when a race car driver sees potential in him. Meanwhile, Jackie pours her heart into developing the town’s community space. But when a childhood friend arrives from New York, the life she left behind proves harder to forget than she expected.”
Who is returning for My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3?
The show revolves around Jackie living in the small town of Silver Falls with the Walter family and dealing with her love triangle with Cole and Alex, so there’s never been any doubt that Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde, and Ashby Gentry would return. The trio was confirmed as series regulars in December, alongside Sarah Rafferty (Katherine), Blucas, Connor Stanhope (Danny), and Jaylan Evans (Skylar).

Season 3 recurring cast members include Corey Fogelmanis as Nathan, Johnny Link as Will, Isaac Arellanes as Isaac, Myles Perez as Lee, Alisha Newton as Erin, Mya Lowe as Kiley, Ellie O’Brien as Grace, Kolton Stewart as Dylan, Natalie Sharp as Blake, Alex Quijano as Richard, Ashley Tavares as Tara, Dean Petriw as Jordan, Alix West Lefler as Parker, Lennix James as Benny, and Gabrielle Jacinto as Olivia. Not included in Netflix’s casting announcement is Zoë Soul, who appears in Seasons 1 and 2 as Will’s wife, Hayley.
As for the new additions, you can keep an eye out for Chad Rook, who plays Mac. He’s described as a “cool drag racer who hires Cole to revamp the engine of one of his racing cars. After seeing Cole take the car for a spin on the track, Mac is impressed by Cole’s natural skills behind the wheel.”

Netflix
Naveen Paddock is the “handsome and charming” Eliot, who carries with him an air of New York sophistication when he arrives in Silver Falls. He’s Uncle Richard’s new intern, and he makes Jackie feel torn between her old life and her new one.
Jake Manley will appear as Wylder Holt, and per the first-look photos, he’ll be in Alex’s circle. Other new cast members are Jesse Lipscombe, Nathaniel Arcand, Natalie Sharp, Janet Kidder, and Riele Downs.

Netflix
Last but not least, Erin Karpluk will play Hannah, George’s sister and the mother of Isaac and Lee. She toes the line between being a free spirit and being completely irresponsible. She left Isaac and Lee with the Walters for unknown reasons, and she throws them for a loop when she reappears in their lives “a thousand days later.”
Is My Life with the Walter Boys Season 3 based on a book?
Ali Novak first published My Life with the Walter Boys on Wattpad in 2010 before it was officially published in 2014. The show’s first season was inspired by the original book. Novak recently published a sequel, My Return to the Walter Boys, which follows Jackie returning to Silver Falls after spending the summer in New York.
Gentry previously told Swooon that Season 2 “is completely different” than the sequel. “We have no connection to the book any further,” he added. It’s unclear whether or not Novak will publish a third Walter Boys novel.
Will there be a My Life with the Walter Boys Season 4?
Netflix has announced that My Life with the Walter Boys will continue beyond Season 3. A fourth season was announced in May 2026, ahead of Season 3. It’ll drop sometime in 2027.
“I know I speak for the writers, the cast, and the crew when I say that it is beyond exciting to be returning to the world of Silver Falls for a fourth season,” showrunner Melanie Halsall said in a statement. “Our characters continue to grow and evolve, and we have so many delicious, romantic, sexy, and messy stories to tell — I can’t wait to share them with our amazing audience, who have shown so much love for this show. We are all incredibly grateful and are thrilled to dive in.”
After Season 2 dropped, Halsall told Swooon, “So we have a little bit of time yet before we lose our characters to college, but I would love to continue the story as they get older and mature in these schools. Of course, yeah, I would love to.”
She continued, “I’m fascinated by these characters and these stories in this world, and I would love to keep telling these stories for as long as people keep watching them, would like to keep watching them. So you never know. We might be seeing our characters get older and older as we go ahead, but I would love to keep telling these stories.” Read more about her plans for the show here.
