Who Is HGTV Star Jasmine Roth’s Husband? Inside Her Marriage to Brett Roth
Jasmine Roth and her husband Brett Roth’s love story is one for the ages. The HGTV star burst onto the design scene in 2020 as the star of the network’s show Help! I Wrecked My House, and fans quickly wanted to learn more about her personal life.

How did Jasmine Roth meet her husband?
Jasmine and Brett met in college. They were both attending Northeastern University and ended up moving into an apartment together as roommates in Boston in 2005. At the time, they were both seeing other people, and their relationship was platonic.
“We were roommates in college,” Jasmine explained in December 2024. “We moved into a brownstone apartment in Boston that had real wood floors and original brick walls. We had so much fun making it our own. We didn’t know each other very well, but it didn’t matter because, you know, it was college and our worries were those of 20 year olds trying to figure it all out.”

Eventually, they realized their feelings for each other and started a romantic relationship. In 2013, they got married in Utah.
“The day of the wedding was perfect! Maybe not in the conventional sense (the Maid of Honor dress was forgotten and it poured rain) but in the non-conventional sense, perfect,” Jasmine wrote on her blog. “Brett and I were surrounded by the people that we love, the bluegrass band was rocking, the food was killer, everyone was laughing, and at the end of the night the guests fell asleep with a smile on their faces.”
In a 2024 Instagram post, Jasmine gushed, “To say we’ve ‘grown up together’ would be an understatement and it’s wild to think that we’re actually just getting started. And even after all these years, I can’t wait to see what’s next…
What does Jasmine Roth’s husband do for a living?
Brett is a senior vice president at Roth Staffing, a recruiting company that helps with hiring needs in industries “from administrative to finance to legal and technology,” according to its website.
Brett began his career as a recruiter before working his way up to his new position, which he’s held since 2018. In 2008, he helped launch Ledgent Technology, “a specialized business line focused the placement of IT professionals.”
Brett “spearheads many companywide initiatives that improve service and communications to both Ambassadors and clients,” according to Roth Staffing’s website. “Specifically, his role in launching the Roth Staffing Service Values allows the company to continually provide the best Ambassador experience in the industry which is validated by ClearlyRated’s Best of Staffing Talent Award and several recognitions throughout the years on the Staffing Industry Analyst list of Best Staffing Firms to Temp For.”
Do Jasmine and Brett Roth have kids?
Yes, Jasmine and Brett are the proud parents of two daughters. Jasmine gave birth to Hazel in April 2020. While trying to conceive baby No. 2, Jasmine struggled with secondary infertility. After suffering an unrelated injury, she learned that she had high genetic cholesterol, vitamin deficiencies, and hormone imbalances, which led her to meet with a fertility specialist.
Eventually, she was able to conceive, and the couple’s second daughter, Darla, was born in September 2024. Darla was in the NICU for just over two weeks after arriving a month early.

In 2023, Hazel had tonsil and adenoid reduction surgery after Jasmine and Brett found out that her tonsils were touching and she had enlarged adenoids. She was diagnosed after her parents noticed “a weird breathing/snoring thing happening,” according to a post on Jasmine’s Instagram page.
“She came home tired from the anesthesia, but was in good spirits eating popsicles and oatmeal today,” Jasmine shared. “Such a trooper and made her nervous parents feel like everything was ok.”
Where do Jasmine Roth and her family live?
The family moved to Utah from California in 2024. They previously had a vacation home in Park City, Utah, and noticed they were spending increasing amounts of time there, so they decided to make the city their permanent home.
“Deciding to sell everything, move to a new state, move my company, and start a new chapter in Utah – all while being pregnant – was ambitious to say the least,” Jasmine admitted. “Building a new house, having a premature baby, then moving into our new house…was an unexpected wild ride. But I keep pinching myself because at this time last year, we were trying and hoping for what we now have…and it all seemed so out of reach.”
