Bachelor Nation alums Kat (The Bachelor Season 27, Bachelor in Paradise Season 9) and Dale (The Bachelorette Season 6) ventured on the first one-on-one date of Bachelor in Paradise Season 10 after Dale’s shocking waterborne entrance into the competition. Throughout the season, flirty singles like Jonathon Johnson and Alli Jo Hinkes tried to explore a relationship with a member of the duo, but the Week 1 couple held strong.
While they stuck by each other’s side through new contestants’ entrances, bug attacks, compatibility tests, and more, Kat and Dale did not come out on top, and were eliminated before the finale. However, that didn’t stop them from pursuing a relationship outside of the show, which ended up lasting for a few months.

Are Kat Izzo & Dale Moss still together?
No, Kat and Dale are no longer together. News of their breakup was first reported by The Sun in November 2025, with Us Weekly later confirming the news. According to The Sun’s report, the breakup happened in October.
“They just decided they would be better off as friends and split over a month ago,” the outlet’s source revealed, adding that Kat unfollowed her ex on social media.
Fans began suspecting a split after Kat left a now-deleted comment on one of Dale’s TikTok videos, where he spoke about how his life has “drastically” changed from this time last year. “Whatever situation you’re in, going through a tough time, just know that there’s always brighter days,” he said. “Things take time, they do not have to take forever. Life is not always easy, situations are not always perfect. But we can reflect back and look at some of the tough times and how you got through them and it puts a lot in perspective.”
Kat commented, then deleted, “HAHAHAHAHAHA rich coming from you!”
Season 10 of BIP filmed in spring 2025 and aired over the summer. During the September 2 finale, it was confirmed that Kat and Dale were going strong. “Their relationship is far from deaded,” a show update revealed. “Dale and Kat have been exploring the U.S. together. They plan on moving closer and building a future together.”
On a September 3 episode of fellow The Bachelor alum Nick Viall‘s podcast, The Viall Files, the duo confirmed that they were still dating. They also posted a carousel of photos on Instagram, telling their followers, “and we’re just getting started …🤍.” Unfortunately, it was short-lived.

Did Kat Izzo and Dale Moss get engaged?
No, Kat and Dale never got engaged, which they were on the same page about (Kat previously accepted a proposal from John Henry Spurlock on BIP, while Dale was engaged to Clare Crawley after The Bachelorette).
When Kat was asked on Viall Files if she was bummed that she left Paradise without a ring, unlike another one of her costars, she responded, “No, I’m totally fine without a ring. I think they were more focused, on like, truly, building relationships [this season]. If you see, even though engagements were the forefront of previous seasons, they haven’t really worked out that well. So, whatever they’re doing this time worked a little bit better ’cause we’re together and things are good.”
Dale added that he and Kat were’t having conversations about an engagement yet at that point.
Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise introduced a monetary prize, which incentivized couples without a romantic spark to stay in the competition. For Kat and Dale, having a solid relationship only made them want it more, so that they could win for each other. Dale said, “At the end of the day, if it was winning, the biggest thing, the money wasn’t the incentive. You wanted to win for your partner.” While they may not have won the final challenge, the competitive nature of the season allowed them to lean on each other.
