What To Know

  • Your Fault: London leaves Nick and Noah’s relationship in turmoil after a series of misunderstandings and betrayals.
  • Asha Banks explains to Swooon what Nick’s actions mean for their romance going forward.
  • A third film, Our Fault: London, has already been filmed.

Your Fault: London leaves Nick (Matthew Broome) and Noah’s (Asha Banks) romance in a not-so-great spot, to say the least, so Swooon had the two leads explain exactly what it means and where they go from here. How will the couple find their way back to each other in Our Fault: London, which Prime Video has already greenlit? (Warning: Spoilers ahead for Your Fault: London.)

In the sequel’s third act, Noah decides she needs some space from Nick. Briar (Scarlett Rayner) encourages Noah to show Nick what he’s missing at the Leister Enterprises company party, and they bring Michael (Joel Nankervis) with them. Due to Briar’s scheming, Nick assumes that Noah and Michael are together, leading him to kiss his business partner, Sophia (Louisa Binder), right in front of Noah.

That — and the revelation that Nick kept his history with Briar secret — leads to a devastated Noah sleeping with Michael. The morning after, Nick apologizes and explains the situation with Briar. Noah seems receptive, but it all goes wrong when Nick realizes what Noah was up to the night before. He finds Michael and takes out his frustrations with his fists.

The display echoes his old behavior — which Noah, who was traumatized by her violent father, asked him to change in the first movie. A regretful Noah arrives at Michael’s dorm just in time to see Nick stuffed into the back of a police car. Will Nick’s actions in those final moments make her look at him differently going forward?

“I mean, their relationship is so complicated,” Banks explained to Swooon. “I feel like by the end of the movie, everybody’s sort of confused. It’s such a big miscommunication in so many ways.”

She continued, “Of course, Nick has not been the best and has lied along the way, and Noah’s not been great in lots of ways either,” she continued. “It’s very layered and confusing, but ultimately I think all of it just makes her realize how much she loves Nick, no matter how kind of hurtful he’s been and how kind of destroyed she is.”

That’s Noah’s state of mind going into the third installment in the franchise. “I think that she’s kind of got to unpack it all and figure it out to find out if it’s good for her,” Banks added of what’s next for her character.

Though one can argue throughout the sequel movie that Noah and Nick are toxic, Banks and Broome agreed that Nick and Noah’s love is “undeniable.”

“I know that’s such a cop-out, but even through the script, you can just tell how much they love each other and how much they’re trying,” Banks said. “They need to work on many, many things, but they are both trying, I think, because of how much they love each other. Their communication is not aligning, but it’s got the potential to, of course.”
