‘Love Island USA’ Season 7 Premiere Delay Outrages Fans: ‘I’ve Been Staring at Peacock’

Where are you, Love Island USA?! Why can’t we find you?

The wait to enter the Love Island USA villa was a bit longer than expected. Season 7 was supposed to premiere on June 3 at 9/8c on Peacock, but if you went to the app at that time, the episode wasn’t immediately available.

Love Island USA fans were concerned from the jump about the Season 7 premiere episode. At 9:01 p.m. ET, Peacock quickly took to X, formerly Twitter, to quell everyone’s worry. “WE GOT A TEXT! Tonight’s episode will be slightly delayed. But it is worth the wait Stay tuned! #LoveIslandUSA,” the streamer wrote. As of publication, there’s been no explanation as for why Love Island USA wasn’t on Peacock at the premiere time.

Naturally, fans had quite a heated reaction to not being able to watch the Season 7 premiere episode right away. “Somebody at Peacock losing their job. Why is the Love Island premiere late? My food is hot & my wine is poured,” one fan wrote. Love Island USA’s Season 7 premiere may be fashionably late, but fans will quickly forgive Peacock once the first Islanders enter the villa. The first 10 cast members were revealed days before the show’s premiere, and this season includes a cowboy, single mom, and more.

Barring any further issues, new episodes of Love Island USA will air six days a week—every day except Wednesdays (with the exception of premiere week). Ariana Madix will serve as host once again and help navigate the Islanders through their journey in Fiji.
