Nicolas “Nic” Vansteenberghe is one of the 10 Islanders who entered the villa during the Season 7 premiere of Love Island USA on June 3, 2025. During his intro, he told viewers that his friends would describe him as “feral.” Regardless of what he was going for with that persona, we can’t help but feel intrigued by a man giving himself a raccoon-esque description. He also rolled up on a motorcycle, which couldn’t help but make him seem effortlessly cool.

Nic Vansteenberghe is a registered nurse. During his intro, he shared that his job as a nurse is that “charm is 80% of the job.” He shared that his job is to “give them that positivity,” including “a little bit of love and affection” but “not in a weird way.” According to his LinkedIn profile, Nic is also an “actor model” under DT Model Management.

On his Instagram, Nic has shared that modeling has been his dream for quite a while, stating, “I was 15 working at Aeropostale as a cashier and dreamt of being on one of the posters in the store.” Seeing that dream become a reality more and more each day, pre-Love Island Nic modeled for both GUESS and Style+.
Where is Nic Vansteenberghe from?
Nic Vansteenberghe is from Jacksonville, Florida. Nic has a bit of a digital footprint, so prepare to get to know him a little too well. We can confirm that Nic graduated from Tocoi Creek High School in 2019 as a top athlete on their competitive swim team. He then went to Florida Atlantic University, where he rushed Delta Tau Delta. Save for some chaste handholding, Nic and Belle-A left physical touch out of the equation their first night in the villa and, according to Belle-A, Nic won’t be receiving any smooches until they have a “solid connection.”
Nic claimed Belle-A not kissing him didn’t bother him, after admitting earlier in the episode that he likes to be with someone who is “touchy.” Seeing this disconnect, fans have already speculated that their connection will not stay together for long. As one TikTok user put it, “They’re NOT working out unless she abandons her morals for him.”
Who has Nic Vansteenberghe dated?
While Nic entered the villa single, he dated fellow DT Model and influencer Devon Christenson. The couple dated from around 2020 to late 2023, posting multiple PDA-filled TikToks together. The duo stopped making social media collabs before 2024. However, we cannot confirm the exact date of their breakup.
