Amy Robach & T.J. Holmes Wedding Update: The 2 Surprising People Reportedly on the Guest List
An Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes engagement is imminent, according to a new report from Us Weekly. The news doesn’t come as much of a surprise, as the couple themselves have openly spoken about how they plan to take the next step in their relationship, too.
However, the outlet’s report about who will be on the guest list for Robach and Holmes’ nuptials is quite a shock.
Robach and Holmes reportedly “plan on inviting” their exes Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig, who are also now in a relationship following their splits from the former GMA3 stars. The journalists’ romance first made headlines in 2022 before they had publicly announced their separations from their former spouses, but they’ve insisted that they were already in the process of divorcing Shue and Fiebig when they got together.
This will be the third marriage for both Robach and Holmes, so they’re reportedly not planning on having a “flashy” wedding once they do walk down the aisle. “How they got together is not traditional, so they want the engagement and wedding this time around to be their own style: Modest and simple,” Us Weekly’s source said. “They want to share their vows in front of the closest people who matter to them to demonstrate how much they love each other and are committed to each other.”
Robach’s first husband was Tim McIntosh, whom she shares two children with. They divorced in 2008, and she went on to marry Shue in February 2010. Robach and Shue’s divorce was finalized in March 2023 following their August 2022 separation.
Meanwhile, Holmes divorced his first wife, Amy Ferson, in 2007. They share two children, a son and a daughter. He also has a daughter, Sabine, with Fiebig, whom he married in March 2010.
While discussing engagement plans on their podcast in January, Robach assured Holmes that she wasn’t expecting a big to-do. “I actually don’t even expect a proposal,” she told him. “We’ve talked about it. We’ll make the decision. We’re grown ass adults, so I think that we’ll make the decision to get married together. I’m not expecting a proposal at all.”
