‘Bachelor’s Grant Ellis Defends Juliana Pasquarosa as She Claps Back at Haters After Split

Grant Ellis popped into the comments section of ex Juliana Pasquarosa‘s new TikTok post just days after they announced that they ended their engagement. The Bachelor Season 29 star seemingly posted a response to critics by mouthing along to the Black Eyed Peas‘ lyric, “I think the whole world’s addicted to the drama” from “Where Is the Love?”
While this could just be a generic clap back, some fans have theorized that she might be directing her post toward fellow Bachelor contestants Litia Garr or Carolina Quixano.
Ellis commented, “Keep shining 🤘🏾💜 , let em talk.” The pair announced their split on June 15, which prompted Quixano, whom Ellis eliminated in Week 5, to weigh in. She called out Pasquarosa in her TikTok, referencing drama from filming when Quixano expressed concern about not being ready for an engagement with Ellis after just a few weeks, which Pasquarosa called her out about.

“My opinion is that anyone claiming to be ready for an engagement with the Bachelor before actually going on a one-on-one with that person is probably trying to ‘win The Bachelor‘ more than connect with the actual human, the one that’s right for them,” she began. “My opinion is that anybody that goes out of their way to s**t on someone who’s simply saying that they’re nervous about the Bachelor potentially meeting their family and how quickly everything is moving because there is an engagement at the end of this, um, is probably not a very nice person.”
She also accused Pasquarosa of “lying” by telling Ellis that Quixano had “nothing good to say” about one of their dates on the show. “My opinion is that branding yourself as a ‘nice girl’ probably means you’re trying to overcompensate for something,” she added. “We all know what you stand for. My opinion is that if she hadn’t been the winner, everyone would’ve seen a very different side to all of this, but of course, the happy couple has to look good.”
Quixano claimed that Pasquarosa never apologized for her actions toward her, while “many of the others” in the cast did. “An applause for the performance,” she said.
Some fans also thought Garr, who was Ellis’ runner-up, was shading the former couple in videos posted by her friend on social media, leading to speculation that Pasquarosa’s response video might be directed at her.
Meanwhile, Pasquarosa directly responded to Quixano’s video, telling Us Weekly, “Carolina’s comments aren’t surprising. This feels like an attempt to turn our breakup into engagement. That’s her choice. As for me, I’m not interested in going back and forth. Eye for an eye isn’t my vibe.”
