What Happened to ‘Bachelor’s Peter Weber & Hannah Ann Sluss? Their Breakup Revisited
Hannah Ann Sluss is going to be a mom! The Bachelor alum announced that she and husband Jake Funk, whom she married in June 2024, are expecting their first child together.
It’s hard to believe that just over five years ago, Sluss was left heartbroken after her split from Peter Weber on Season 24 of The Bachelor. Following her exciting pregnancy reveal, we’re looking back at what went down between Sluss and Weber on the dating show.
What happened to Hannah Ann Sluss and Peter Weber?
Sluss was one of the contestants on Weber’s season of The Bachelor. They formed a strong connection, and she made it all the way to his final 2, along with Madison Prewett.
While Sluss was ready to accept a proposal from Weber, Prewett was a bit more hesitant, as she could not accept that Weber had been intimate with other women in the fantasy suites. Although she initially decided to give him a second chance, she wound up ending their relationship before the final rose ceremony.
This left Sluss as the last remaining woman, and Weber proposed to her in Australia. They left the show as a happily engaged couple. “We were looking into moving in together, looking at apartments,” Sluss shared. “We were serious.”
However, she said she began to feel “hesitation” from Weber once the season started airing in January 2020. They revealed at the live reunion that March that they had broken up. They do not appear to have been in contact since their breakup.
Why did Hannah Sluss and Peter Weber split?
On March 10, 2020, After the Final Rose featured footage from Sluss and Weber’s split, which took place when they spent the weekend together in California about five weeks earlier. The split happened because Weber still had feelings for Prewett. Sluss said she went into the weekend knowing she and her fiancé had a lot to discuss, but said she wasn’t expecting a breakup.
“We were working through the unresolved issues he had [with Prewett],” Sluss explained on The Ellen DeGeneres Show afterwards. “I told him prior to going to L.A., I was like, ‘Hey, if you want to break up, just give me a heads up.’ He was like, ‘No, we’re going to work through this.’ He told me to trust him, so I trusted him. That day was the very first time I heard, ‘I can’t give you my full heart.'”
Sluss admitted to feeling “blindsided” by the breakup, as she wasn’t aware of what went down between Prewett and Weber before he proposed to her.
After Weber and Sluss hashed things out on ATFR, Prewett was brought on stage, and she admitted that she was also still in love with the pilot. They agreed to give their relationship another shot but broke up just two days later.
How did Hannah Ann Sluss meet Jake Funk?
Sluss ended up meeting her now-husband, NFL player Funk, at the end of 2021. They met after he DMed her on TikTok.

“I was looking through my DMs, and I get this DM from Jake that says, ‘Shooter’s shoot.’ I ended up saying back ‘Slam dunk,'” she shared. He told her he loved her just two weeks into dating, then proposed in January 2023.
Are Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan together?
Following his split from Prewett, Weber reconnected with another woman from his season, Kelley Flanagan. They were spotted together just days after After the Final Rose, then began posting social media content together while quarantining together amid the COVID-19 pandemic. By the end of April 2020, they were officially a couple.

However, they are no longer together today. By the end of 2020, Weber and Flanagan split, only to briefly reunite, then breakup again after Valentine’s Day 2021. They gave the romance one more shot in the fall of 2022, but they split for good by April 2023.
The exes appear to be on amicable terms these days, as they had a friendly reunion at Coachella in April 2025.
