‘Virgins’ Sneak Peek: Alex Confesses He’s Never Had Sex To His Date (VIDEO)
Alex is taking a big leap when it comes to his love life in Swooon’s exclusive preview of the June 30 episode of TLC’s newest series Virgins. He invites his date, Andrea, back to his house and even brings her up to his room.
With Andrea sitting on his bed, Alex admits that the whole situation feels a bit “weird.” This is the first time he’s had a girl in his room!
Alex tells her that this is his childhood home, easing into the reveal that he still lives with his parents. “I want to come clean to Andrea about still being a virgin and still living at home with my parents, but I’m just really nervous because I don’t want her to be turned off by it and just want to leave,” Alex says. “I don’t want to send her running for the hills.”
The 34-year-old doesn’t shy away from having an honest conversation with his date. “I don’t live here by myself,” he tells Andrea before fully admitting that he lives with his parents.
“Oh, wow,” Andrea simply says. Alex says living under the same roof as his parents is why he’s never really dated anybody. “I don’t have as much experience as a lot of guys,” Alex continues, which causes Andrea to look at confused.
“What do you mean?” Andrea asks. Time for the climax of the conversation. “Needless to say, I’ve never really had sex with a woman,” Alex reveals.
Alex, along with fellow cast members Deanne, Rhasha, and Sonali, has yet to experience sexual intercourse. These cast members will navigate love, intimacy, and self-discovery in the first season.
Alex’s sisters have stepped in to help him gain some independence and maybe even find love. He’s clearly making progress if he feels comfortable enough to invite Andrea back to his room!
