HGTV’s Erin Napier Shuts Down Divorce Rumors in Social Media Address to Fans
Straight from the source! Home Town star Erin Napier is shutting down room for speculation or rumors of divorce from husband Ben Napier as the HGTV star took to social media to clarify any confusion.
In an address to fans, Erin got candid about the state of her marriage and stressed that she and Ben are very much in love.
“Can’t believe I even have to say this but NO, the clickbait articles that we are splitting up are not real, y’all. They are AI-generated and don’t even make any kind of sense. Y’all are smarter than this,” she wrote. Erin followed up the address with another bit of text, writing, “And please don’t ask about it in front of our babies. They don’t understand what ‘online fake news’ means, and it’s upsetting.”
As mentioned above, Erin and her husband Ben have helmed HGTV’s long-running hit Home Town since the show’s debut back in 2016. Together, they work to renovate old homes in their small town of Laurel, Mississippi.

Erin and Ben Napier’s future with HGTV also remains bright, as their series was picked up for a 32-episode order earlier this year, taking filming through to 2027. Currently, the couple is seemingly vacationing in Scotland as Erin posted a selfie of herself and Ben on Instagram the same day as her message to fans.
“Seeing his homeland with my Scotsman 🏴,” Erin captioned the image of herself and Ben as they sported matching sunglasses. In other words, concerns for the couple’s relationship couldn’t be further from their reality. Additionally, days before their Scotland adventure, the couple shared a fun video of them pitching a show concept in which they provide commentary about movie houses, citing The Parent Trap as an example.
In the video, Ben was jumping around, and Erin was giggling as she explained the idea to fans while also tagging Warner Bros. Discovery, the parent company of HGTV. Rest assured, this fan-favorite duo is holding strong.
