We just got a text! It’s time for the Love Island USA Season 7 finale. All the highs and lows inside the villa, including the dumpings, Casa Amor, and wild challenges, have been building up to this, and only one couple was voted the winner.

The final four couples were revealed just after the family visits: Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenalas, Iris Kendall and Pepe Garcia, Nic Vansteenberghe and Olandria Carthen, and Huda Mustafa and Chris Seeley. Chelley Bissainthe and Ace Greene, perhaps the strongest couple in the villa, were dumped just before the finale.

Ahead of the final vote reveal, the Love Island USA social media accounts released a statement: “Huge thanks to everyone who has joined us for Love Island USA Season 7! We can’t wait to celebrate our incredible Islanders in tomorrow night’s finale. Love Island exists because of the real people who share their search for love with the world. Our host and Islanders deserve respect and kindness for opening their hearts to the experiences and to viewers everywhere. As this season comes to a close, let’s show them our love and support!”

So, which couple won Love Island USA Season 7? Scroll down to find out.

What happened during the Love Island USA Season 7 finale?

Picking up immediately after Ace and Chelley’s elimination, the episode started off with all of the couples reflecting on their time together. Most notably, after a steamy makeout session, Nic finally told Olandria that he kissed her during the blindfold challenge in Episode 2.

The next morning, the Islanders got ready for their final dates. First up was Nic and Olandria, who were whisked away to a small island. Scattered on the beach were bottles with messages inside them. Most were from fans, but the couple was surprised with notes from Nic’s dad and Olandria’s sister at the end. (They were absent on Family Day.) They both expressed their support for their relationship.

Back at the villa, Chris debriefed Bryan about his latest hiccup with Huda. The night before, Huda tried to get Chris’ attention in bed, but he brushed her off. “I shouldn’t have to argue about me wanting to go to sleep,” he told Bryan later. Meanwhile, Huda was confiding in Amaya about the same thing. Amaya suggested she have a conversation with Chris about her feelings.

Over in the villa’s confessional, Nic confirmed that he plans on seeing Olandria after the show (and Olandria echoed him later on in the episode). At the same time, Iris and Pepe headed out for their sailboat date. Their conversation wasn’t lengthy, but they agreed to reconnect in L.A. and see where things might go between them.

On Huda and Chris’ dinner date — on a raised platform in the middle of a shallow pond — Chris began by saying he thinks they have real-world potential. Huda agreed at first, but she added that they need to work on things. They got into a bit of a debate about the disagreements they’ve had over communication and physical intimacy.

Their conversation was suddenly interrupted by a vocalist singing “Moon River.” (Yes, really.) After it was over, Huda told Chris that she wanted to just be friends. “It’s not really something that we can fix anymore,” she said later in a confessional. “And knowing that this is long distance, and we don’t have a strong foundation, and I’m not confident that it’s going to work, I don’t see the reason for continuing it on the outside world.” (Chris ended up sleeping in Soul Ties on their final night.)

Amaya and Bryan had a much less rocky date. On a couch in the middle of the jungle (?), the couple spent their outing flipping through photo albums, and after some reminiscing about their childhoods, they confirmed how happy they make each other. Bryan capped off the date by asking Amaya to be exclusive. She said yes!

The next morning, the girls had a spa day ahead of the winner reveal. Later that night, the guys waited for the girls to join them in the jazzed-up villa. After a little dancing sequence — they brought out some moves from their Love Island USA intros — the couples gave their “declarations of love” to each other. (Huda and Chris’ was more of a breakup speech, but they only said positive things about each other.)

Who won Love Island USA Season 7?

Your Season 7 winners are Amaya and Bryan! In the show’s final moments, Bryan ended up being handed the envelope with the $100,000 prize, and he decided to split it with Amaya.

“I feel like I’m flying in the sky right now,” Amaya said. “But to feel so seen and validated and for people to see how powerful our connection is… And like, boy, was this a ride here on Love Island. But, man, I would do this ride all over again if it led me to him.”

Right behind them were runners-up Nic and Olandria, followed by Chris and Huda in third place. Iris and Pepe landed in fourth place.

Unfortunately, Peacock didn’t announce any news about Love Island USA Season 8 during the finale, but don’t fret! The Season 7 reunion special will air on August 25. The Islanders will fly out to New York City for the taping.
