Is Ariana Madix Leaving ‘Love Island USA’? She Responds to the Rumor
Ariana Madix has absolutely crushed it as the host of Love Island USA for Seasons 6 and 7. Later this summer, she’ll return to host the Season 7 reunion, and she’ll also be back as the host of Love Island Games Season 2 in September.
However, following the Season 7 Love Island USA finale, fans began speculating that Madix wouldn’t be coming back to host if Love Island USA returns for Season 8. (Peacock has not confirmed a renewal yet, but we’re hopeful.) Well, she addressed the rumors herself in the comments section of a TikTok post.
“I’m not leaving,” Madix wrote. “I’ll see you guys really soon.” The comment came after a social media user theorized, “This was definitely Love Island giving Ariana her farewell. She really is gone after tomorrow. Next season is going to feel so different.” When another person begged Peacock to “never replace” Madix, the Vanderpump Rules alum responded, “Thank you. I’m not leaving.”

The video that had fans talking was featured on the Love Island USA after show, Aftersun. It featured Season 7 cast members raving over Madix. For example, Amaya Espinal said, “Miss goddess Barbie walking sun, you’re the definition of how a woman should carry herself. You keep on being the queen that you are.”
Viewers thought that it was the show’s way of saying goodbye to Madix and theorized that showering her with a montage of compliments was a way of saying farewell, but Madix herself has debunked those rumors.
Madix joined Love Island USA during Season 6 in 2024. Previously, Sarah Hyland served as host in 2022 and 2023, while Arielle Vandenberg was the original host for Seasons 1, 2, and 3 in 2019, 2020, and 2021.
