All About Chad Michael Murray’s Family: Meet His Wife & Kids
Chad Michael Murray had a major red carpet moment at the Freakier Friday premiere with wife Sarah Roemer and two of their kids on Tuesday, July 22. Since the actor generally keeps his kids out of the spotlight, this was the first time they were publicly photographed.

How did Chad Michael Murray and Sarah Roemer meet?
The couple met while filming the television series Chosen in 2013 but didn’t start dating until 2014. They tied the knot in September of that year and did not publicly confirm the news of their nuptials until January 2015.
The pair’s exact wedding date is September 19, with Murray celebrating the occasion via an Instagram post in honor of their 10-year anniversary in 2024. “10 years… We’ve jammed more into this 10 years than I ever could’ve imagined,” he gushed. “It’s truly astounding. It’s been the Best decade of my life by far- sharing each and every moment with you. We’ve grown this little pack together and seen so much of the world as a family. I’m so grateful for you Sarah. Every day is a better and much brighter day with you in it:) I hope and pray for at least 50 more anniversaries with you❤️. Till we’re old and gray… new hips, new knees, our elbow skin will be touching the ground, all the kids will think we’re senile but really we’re just f-ing with them… coz that’s what you do when you’re old and together:) I love you Sarah- Happy 10th Anniversary.”
Who is Sarah Roemer?
Roemer is also in the entertainment industry. Her career began when she was approached by a modeling agency at the age of 15. After moving to Los Angeles to pursue a modeling career, she made her acting debut in the 2006 indie film Wristcutters: A Love Story.

Murray and Roemer have three kids together. They have not publicly revealed the names of their children, but their eldest son was born in May 2015, followed by a daughter in May 2017, and another daughter in August 2023.

How many marriages has Chad Michael Murray had?
Murray has been married twice. Prior to Roemer, he was married to One Tree Hill costar Sophia Bush from April 2005 until their separation just five months later. Although Bush tried to have the marriage annulled, her request was denied, and the exes were instead granted a divorce in December 2006.
There was almost a third marriage for the actor, as well. He got engaged to Kenzie Dalton in April 2006 after meeting her when she guest starred on an episode of One Tree Hill the year prior. Their relationship lasted more than seven years before they split in 2013.
After the breakup with Dalton, Murray dated Nicky Whelan for eight months before they split in 2014, shortly before he got together with Roemer.
