Are ‘Farmer Wants a Wife’ Season 1 Couple Landon Heaton & Ashley Larea Still Together?

At the end of Farmer Wants a Wife Season 1 in 2023, Landon Heaton chose Ashley Larea over Ashley Rader. Their love story played out on the show, which finished filming in December 2022 and aired during spring 2023.
But now that it’s been more than two years since the finale, where do Heaton and Larea stand today? Scroll down to find out if they’re still together and for the latest updates on their relationship.
Are Landon Heaton and Ashley Larea still together?
No, Heaton and Larea’s relationship did not last long past the FWAW finale. They announced their breakup in June 2023, less than one month after the show finished airing. However, in their split posts, they revealed that they actually ended their relationship months earlier in January 2023.
“At the finale in December, we were completely changed and hopeful in our future ahead,” Larea shared in a now-deleted post. “After the show stopped filming, the pressure of things beyond my control took a toll and ultimately we decided to go our separate ways in January.”
Why did Landon Heaton and Ashley Larea split?
Heaton gave some insight into the reason behind the breakup in his June 1, 2023, post.
“Following the final days of filming, due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed to be home with my family, and then life got busy,” he admitted. “Ashley and I made the decision to go separate ways in January of 2023, in an effort to adjust back to ‘normal life.'”

After “not having seen or spoken to each other in months,” the two reunited in Florida for the Season 1 finale party. “The raw effortless connection was still there,” Heaton continued. “We had an amazing time catching up, but reality has its own way of setting in. No one should have to sacrifice years of hard work, goals, and dreams to create a life of ‘what ifs.'”
At the end of the day, he had nothing but praise for his ex. “Ashley is an exceptional woman and I look forward to watching her succeed. While our story might not have ended in white horses and romance, it is my hope that we will continue to always be able to counut on each other as we share an experience and bond that few can understand.”
Are any Farmer Wants a Wife Season 1 couples still together?
No, like Heaton and Larea, the three other Season 1 couples have also called it quits. Allen Foster and Khelsi Stone announced their breakup in May 2023, just two days after the finale. Hunter Grayson and Meghan Baker revealed in June 2023 that they had split, as well.
Meanwhile, Ryan Black didn’t end the show with anybody. He asked a previously-eliminated contestant, Haley Ramirez, to be in a relationship with him, but she turned down the offer.
