90 Day Fiancé Season 8 couple Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren were seemingly back and better than ever heading into Season 9 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After. Now that the Tell All: No Limits has come and gone, their relationship status, along with many of the other couples, is more unclear than ever.
Ahead of their appearance on Happily Ever After, Yara and Jovi fought for their marriage on 90 Day: The Last Resort, which exists as “a final attempt to salvage” the relationships of 90 Day Fiancé stars. During the season, the couple discovered they were both keeping a significant secret from each other. Throughout 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After Season 9, the couple gave fans an intimate look into their relationship, airing one of their biggest arguments to date before their (ex?) friend and fellow cast member, Andrei Castravet, spilled the beans on a relationship-altering secret he learned from Jovi.

Are Yara and Jovi still together?
Yes, Yara and Jovi from 90 Day Fiancé are still together. However, there is definitely trouble in paradise for the TLC alums. During the final part of the Tell All, Andrei revealed Jovi calls him up under the influence “all the time” to say that he wants to divorce Yara if she won’t move to Louisiana to live closer to his family. This news shocked everyone, from host Shaun Robinson to Yara herself, who appeared to be hearing any discussion of “divorce” for the first time. Jovi responded, “To be honest, yeah, I have told him that before. I said that I was thinking about what that looked like. I’m not gonna say I’m 100% serious.”
Ahead of the Tell All, Yara and Jovi shared one of their most dramatic arguments yet during their couple’s trip to Lake Placid with Loren and Alexei Brovarnik, and Elizabeth and Andrei Castravet. During a game of Never Have I Ever, Jovi told their fellow 90 Day stars, “Yara’s [old pictures] are the worst. My pictures, I kind of look the same. Yara’s pictures are the f**king worst. This person is unrecognizable.” Needless to say, Yara was not thrilled by her husband’s claims. She explained, “It’s just really hurtful that you would bring that up, Jovi.”
Later, she told him, “By the way, you’re not so cute either. Anytime you say something about me, go look in the mirror.” While Jovi made it clear that he thought she was “ugly” as a kid, she just looked different, and Yara told him that by now he should know what he should bring up and what he shouldn’t. At the beginning of the season, Yara and Jovi appeared to have worked through their Last Resort relationship problems. Even so, Yara told viewers, “Jovi usually [goes] to work for three weeks and then he [comes] back home and he stays home with us for three weeks.” During Episode 5, Yara admitted Jovi’s schedule was “lonely” for her.
Do Yara and Jovi have kids?
Yes, Yara and Jovi have a daughter named Mylah. During one 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? episode, Yara described their daughter as “an adult but a little kid body.” Jovi is incredibly adamant that he and Yara should expand their family. However, while Yara wants another kid, she admitted, “I remember how hard it is because Jovi goes to work, and when he’s at work, I don’t know how I could do that with two kids.”
During Season 9, Yara revealed, “With Mylah growing up so fast, I think I’m ready for a new chapter. So, I have a big surprise for Jovi.” During her big reveal, Yara made her husband promise that he would not get mad. Continuing to preface the reveal, Yara confessed, “Everything I do, I work so hard because I want us to work together, so you don’t leave me anymore. And I don’t need to pick you up in this damn airport, okay?”
As it turns out, the couple’s next chapter is raising an adorable “teacup poodle” puppy, Mila, named by their daughter Mylah. When Jovi admitted that he “didn’t really expect to come home to a pet,” Yara jokingly retorted (in Russian), “I don’t speak English.”

Why did Yara and Jovi go on 90 Day: The Last Resort?
According to TLC, Yara and Jovi joined 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 1 because “they still had a few marital issues they needed to work out,” with their biggest disagreement revolving around having another child. During their time on the show, Yara confessed at a group therapy session that she had been secretly taking birth control to avoid getting pregnant. Similarly, Jovi admitted that he had been offered a less favorable job closer to home but decided against the opportunity without consulting Yara.
What does Jovi do for a living?
Jovi has spent the last 12 years as an ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) Supervisor for Schilling Robotics UHD. According to his LinkedIn, he is an “experienced supervisor with a demonstrated history of working in the oil & energy industry.” While Jovi and Yara lived in New Orleans for the majority of their relationship, after Yara moved to the United States from Ukraine, the couple moved to Miami to be closer to his job in 2024.
