The Golden Bachelorette‘s Chock Chapple and Joan Vassos are setting the record straight. Fans became concerned that the beloved Bachelor Nation couple had possibly broken up because they were on separate vacations.

While on her Mediterranean cruise, Vassos cleared the air and assured fans that she’s still very happy with Chapple. Days later, Chapple addressed the “fake news” and shared details about his upcoming plans with his fiancée. When it comes to long distance, Vassos and Chapple are pros, but when will they see each other next?

“Joan and I will be in Kansas City next week, so we’ll give you some updates there, and then the following week, we’re back to Kansas City to see the Chiefs exhibition game on the 22nd, so it’s going to be a lot of fun,” Chapple said in a video shared on his Instagram Story. “You’ll see Joan and I doing a lot of posting the next couple of weeks, bringing you up to date. And people have said, ‘Hey, what’s going on? Because we haven’t seen you posting together.’ It’s wedding season for Joan. Her son Nick’s getting married, so she’s been very busy with that. And then we’ve had these two big trips.”

Chapple took a trip with his son, Tyler, to Africa, while Vassos went on a cruise with fellow Golden Bachelor star Nancy Hulkower. He continued, “So we’re still together, everybody, and it’s going great. I know there was a little concern out there, and there’s always a little bit of fake news, as I call it, but no, we’re good.”

The 61-year-old noted that the rest of the year will be “really busy” for him and Vassos. “We get into September, we’ve got trips. October, we have trips,” he explained.

Chapple also acknowledged the status of his New York City apartment with Vassos. After their engagement, the couple announced they were looking for a place in the Big Apple to meet up and spend time together. “We keep wanting to get back there, but we are so busy, and as soon as we get time to really get that plan, we’ll bring you up to date,” Chapple said. “But it’s been crazy, a lot of good opportunities, and then we’re living our life… I do miss Joan. If you see her, tell her hi.”

The couple previously opened up with Swooon about their summer plans. Vassos brought up Chapple’s Africa trip with his son and revealed their families will be headed to Disney World together later this year.

“That’s kind of what’s great about being a little bit of an older couple, you don’t always have to worry about taking your kids on vacation or worry about blending the families,” Vassos said. “We can do things with each of our families, we can do things together. You don’t feel obligated to have to bring all these kids along. So we’ve had several vacations just the two of us since we’ve been off the show. We’ve spent a lot of good quality time just the two of us.”
