“Well, let me tell you a story, I guess, sit around and listen,” Colt began. “So originally, I was engaged to a Brazilian named Larissa [Lima]. I met her in Mexico, and we went to a resort together. In five days, I proposed.” After meeting Larissa, Colt applied for the K-1 Visa, sponsoring Larissa to come to America.

Unfortunately, once Larissa arrived in America, their relationship did not run as smoothly. How could anyone forget Larissa’s fiery proclamation to Colt’s whole family, “‘Who is against the queen will die!'” Colt recalled, “Well, our marriage only lasted six months, but you know, it was pretty… We had a lot of ups and downs, let me tell you.”

Following his divorce from Larissa, Colt started dating Jess Hanvey, a relationship which was featured on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?. “After our divorce, I started dating another Brazilian named Jess, who was already in America,” he shared. “She was an au pair. We met when she came to Vegas on a girls’ trip, and we really hit it off… It was kind of a summer fling, honestly. But we definitely had an adventure.”

“During this time,” he confessed, “I became friends with Vanessa, who lived in Las Vegas. She was a fan of the show when Larissa and I had our season.” As he put it, “I had this friendship with Vanessa, [when] I was dating Jess, and then eventually I cheated on Jess with Vanessa.” After that, their relationship “graduated” to the next level, causing him and Jess to split.

When it comes to Vanessa, Colt revealed that he tried to start out slow. However, he asked her to be his girlfriend “really right before [he] proposed her.” He added, “We had this off-again, on-again unofficial type of relationship, so eventually I proposed to her.” Colt then told Swooon, “We drove to Reno for some reason, and we got married [in secret].” Even his mother, Debbie, didn’t know they had tied the knot until they revealed to the world that they had gotten hitched during the 90 Day: The Single Life Tell All.

According to Colt, “We were there for three years, pretty much, living the dream, I guess. You know, 9 to 5 job and the little housewife and all that.” However, the couple couldn’t figure out how to take their friendship to the next level. Predating his leg injury on Hunt for Love, Colt revealed, “I actually broke my leg in 2022 on the trampoline. So that kind of really put a lot of strain on our marriage. And eventually it just fell apart altogether.”

Following his divorce, Colt packed his bags and left to film the first season of 90 Day: Hunt for Love. During the time on the show before his injury, he quickly connected with Cortney Reardanz. “I first met Cortney at the masquerade party, and as soon as we did the unmasking process and we knew who each other was, she looked at me and she said, ‘I’m not gonna like you.'” Cortney knew his exes, so she was convinced he was “trouble.”

However, the next day, Colt found her lost in the jungle and promptly asked if she wanted to get lunch. “We just started hanging out,” He revealed to Swooon. “We had lunch, and it just really took off from there.” After their jungle interaction gave Cortney a new impression of Colt, the two became inseparable. That’s why he was in her room right before his accident.

“Of course, it’s just as soon as I was starting to get comfortable with everything at the resort, meeting people and making connections, I break my leg,” he joked. Even so, “Cortney was still there for me… She got in the ambulance with me to the hospital.”

With three 90 Day relationships behind him, it seems that Colt’s Hunt for Love has led him to a lasting connection. Or at least, we hope so!
