Katrina Law is calling it quits with her husband of 12 years, Keith Andreen.

The NCIS star filed for divorce on August 11 in Los Angeles, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the driving factor behind their breakup. In the court documents, which were obtained by Us Weekly, Law also claims that they separated about a month earlier on July 7.

The actress, who’s played Special Agent Jessica Knight since 2021, is also seeking joint legal custody and primary physical custody of their daughter. Visitation is still pending. The 39-year-old actress shares 6-year-old Kinley Malika with her ex.

Aside from a 2021 New Year’s post on Law’s Instagram account, featuring photos of the former couple and their daughter, Andreen is mostly absent from Law’s social media. Andreen has no images of his former significant other on Instagram, either. Since she was promoted to being a series regular on NCIS in 2021, most of Law’s posts have been related to the procedural drama.

However, Law has given some insight into her marriage in the past. “My husband’s sense of humor was one of the biggest things that attracted me to him,” she told The Bare Magazine in March 2022, though the article appears to have been deleted. “It has helped us get through our roughest patches and has created some of our most cherished memories.”

Speaking to Pop Culturalist in 2019, the Arrow actress also revealed that her husband had the biggest influence on her career. “I think it’s between my husband, Keith Andreen, and then my manager, Joel Stevens, and their unwavering faith in my eventual success,” she said. “Their ability to speak to me with the hard truth but yet do it in a kind, loving way that didn’t defeat me or destroy me.”

She also mentioned that her soon-to-be ex-husband began as her acting coach in 2009, the year she “really started booking everything.”

“He’s been really great at being able to say, ‘You’re doing one of your tricks’ or ‘I can see you’re phoning it in,'” Law explained. “He’s been great because he knows me personally. He’s able to call me out pretty quickly.”

She recalled how her husband reacted when she booked the role of Mira in Starz’s Spartacus series, which aired its first season in 2010. Law sobbed when she got the good news. “My husband, who was my boyfriend at the time, was like, ‘What’s wrong?’ I was like, ‘Nothing. This is so good.’ He’s like, ‘Why are you crying?’ I’m like, ‘I don’t know,'” she revealed.

Andreen, 50, is also in the entertainment world. In his Instagram bio, he describes himself as a “director/writer/producer in film & tv,” “one-time actor,” “full-time father,” and “famous-adjacent storyteller.”
