After Gleb Savchenko revealed that he won’t be on Season 34 of Dancing With the Stars, he responded to a fan who said he should try his hand at another ABC reality show: The Bachelor.

The professional dancer popped into the comments section of his recent TikTok post and had an unexpected response to a fan who wrote, “Why are you not on The Bachelor?”

“I’m down,” Savchenko, who’s been single since earlier this year after his split from Season 33 DWTS partner Brooks Nader, responded. The Bachelor has been renewed for Season 30, but the leading man has not been announced yet. While the show generally picks from previous contestants for its lead, there hasn’t been a season of The Bachelorette with a new crop of men in over a year, so it’s possible they could go in another direction!

Fans had mixed reactions to the possibility of Savchenko being the Bachelor. “You know what, they should do it. Do it for the drama. Do it for the views. Gleb likes that sort of stuff too,” one Reddit user commented. Someone else wrote, “Gleb would run through the whole cast and whoever he chooses, he’d chest on them in a week. I’ll pass,” and another person said, “Considering the controversy the Bachelor series is going through….no chance.” Another supporter added, “Omg yes!!! I don’t even watch he the bachelor but I would be sat for this.”

Savchenko made his debut as a pro on DWTS in Season 16. He then returned for Seasons 23 to 33 but hinted earlier this week that he wasn’t asked back for Season 34. “Can’t wait to see you on my TV again in September!” one fan commented on Savchenko’s TikTok, to which he replied, “Afraid you won’t.”

In a separate comment, he wrote, “14 years of loyalty, erased by someone’s lie,” seemingly referencing Nader’s recent claims that he cheated on her, which she made in the trailer for her family’s upcoming reality show Love Thy Nader.

Savchenko has vehemently denied the claims. In fact, the TikTok video he hopped in the comments section of seemed to be his response to the allegations. He mouthed along to audio that said, “I don’t know where you got your information from, I don’t know who your source is, but I will be the first one to tell you that is incorrect,” and wrote in the caption, “Your ‘source’ needs a refund… because that story? 100% fake. 🗑️ #lies.”
