‘General Hospital’s Laura Wright Shares Rare Photos With Boyfriend Wes Ramsey: ‘Handsome Fella’
General Hospital star Laura Wright is living her best life with the man she loves. The soap star is head over heels in love with Wes Ramsey, whom she met over two decades ago on the set of Guiding Light.
Wright is an active social media user, but she tends to post sporadically about her relationship with Ramsey. Well, on August 10, the actress treated fans to a rare glimpse of her love life.
“Just a few of my favorite pictures with the Handsome Fella,” she captioned a carousel of photos on Instagram. The new snapshots showed the couple on various trips, dinners, and events. From cozy selfies while in New York City to adorable moments while out and about, it’s clear Wright and Ramsey are smitten with each other.
Nancy Lee Grahn, who stars alongside Wright on GH, wrote in the comments, “Beautiful partnership.” Many fans gushed over Wright and Ramsey’s love for each other. “Love these pictures! Your love for one another comes through them, and you can tell you both laugh with each other a lot! So beautiful!” one fan wrote.

The couple started dating in 2017 after reconnecting years after they first met. When they crossed paths again, Wright was divorced, and Ramsey made his long-held feelings known.
“I let her know that this was something that was always there for me,” Ramsey told Soap Opera Digest. “If someone had whispered in my ear [that they would eventually begin a romance], after I did cartwheels, I probably would have said, ‘The sooner the better!’ But we both had time to grow and become who we’re meant to be so that we can be our best selves for each other, and we just feel so happy that we found each other at this time in our lives.”
Ramsey joined Wright’s soap in 2017 as Peter August and shared many onscreen moments with his offscreen love. His character was killed off in 2022, but that hasn’t stopped fans from wanting Ramsey to return to Port Charles!
