Did ‘Golden Bachelorette’s Joan Vassos & Chock Chapple Get Married? Couple Shares New Update
Fans have been concerned about The Golden Bachelorette‘s Joan Vassos and Chock Chapple in recent weeks because they’ve been apart on separate vacations. The couple has assured everyone that they’re very much in love and still together.
On August 15, Vassos and Chapple proved they’re stronger than ever by reuniting for a new video where they gave an update about what’s going on in their relationship. They addressed everything, including the rumor that they got secretly married. Did these two already say “I do” without anyone knowing?!
“And to all those people that thought we got married, we did not,” Vassos revealed in her joint Instagram video with her fiancé. “We have not done that yet. You will know when we get married. We’re not going to sneak away and do it, OK? So, you guys will know.”
She continued, “You’ve invested in our relationship over the last year, and we really appreciate that. We would never do that to you. So, we did not get married, but we’re still together and very, very happy.”

After Vassos went on a Mediterranean cruise and Chapple went to Africa with his son, the pair reunited in Kansas City, Missouri, to spend some quality time together. They dished that they’ll be returning to Kansas City next week to attend the Chiefs football game.
In the year since they got engaged after meeting on The Golden Bachelorette, Vassos and Chapple have blended their families seamlessly. In their newest update, Vassos revealed that Chapple will be her date to her son’s upcoming wedding. Chapple’s two kids from his previous marriage will be in attendance as well.
“We have a lot of togetherness after being away a lot from each other,” Vassos declared. She thanked fans for “being concerned” about their relationship, but she promised all is well in the Vassos-Chapple house!
Vassos previously told Swooon about her and Chapple’s wedding plans. “I don’t think I want to do anything huge,” The Golden Bachelorette lead said. “I want to do something kind of small, mostly family, I’m thinking. I wouldn’t hate to do a destination wedding.” However, she promised that they “would never” elope.
