‘Bachelor in Paradise’: Are Brian Autz & Parisa Shifteh Still Together After Their Elimination?
Brian Autz and Parisa Shifteh had a lot of ups and downs during Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise, which culminated in their elimination during the August 19, episode.
The couple was sent home after receiving the majority of votes from their fellow castmates. However, they left the resort hand-in-hand and seemed optimistic about their future.
“I came to Paradise to find my person, and I feel like I did,” Parisa said, with Brian adding, “At the end of the day, Parisa and I are strong and happy and excited about the future, so that’s really all that matters.”
But was that connection able to translate into the real world? The duo appeared on the Bachelor in Paradise reunion, which aired on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast on September 3, and gave an update on where they stand now.
Are Brian Autz and Parisa Shifteh still together?
Brian and Parisa are no longer together after Bachelor in Paradise. While they confirmed that they “tried” to make it work post-filming, they revealed that the love has not lasted.
“It was a good run. It was a good run,” Parisa said. Brian added, “It was a great experience that I wouldn’t take back. I think life just kind of got in the way for me, running my restaurant, distance is tough, but we’re still good, close friends.”
Later on in the episode, Parisa gave some more insight into the breakup. “It just came down to, really, I feel like having different schedules,” she explained. “I think also, too, I wanted something different in a relationship compared to what Brian wanted, and there’s nothing wrong with that. I feel like a lot of this comes down to compatibility. That’s OK. And yeah, I mean, we tried, and it just got to a point of, like, OK, I think we just need to wave our white flag and kind of just move on.” She also revealed that she’s “seeing someone” new now.
Parisa previously hinted that the relationship had ended when she shared a video of herself and the other women from Season 10 frolicking on the beach, which she captioned, “My idea of WINNING.” She also posted a photo of herself and Brian to her Instagram Story and captioned it, “SIBLINGS.” Whether this was just a reference to their similar features or if she was referring to the nature of their relationship is unclear.

On his own Story, Brian posted a photo with Parisa and wrote, “Bad asses. Heads held high.”
It appears the two have at least maintained an amicable relationship since their split.
Where are Brian Autz and Parisa Shifteh from?
Parisa and Brian blamed distance as part of the reason for their split. He’s from New York, while she’s from Michigan, so they would’ve had to navigate a long-distance relationship after leaving Paradise.
