Will the ‘Off Campus’ TV Show Include the Epic Locker Room Scene? Fans Are Convinced
Off Campus alert! Like clockwork, Prime Video has posted sneak peeks of the upcoming show every Thursday: First came the two leads’ flirty hair and makeup test, which was followed by footage of the suited-up hockey boys. Finally, we now have our first glimpse of Ella Bright as Hannah Wells.
Between the show and the cast’s Instagram accounts, there’s been no shortage of production updates since it kicked off earlier this summer. But fans have taken it upon themselves to investigate further, and they may have gotten confirmation that a fan-favorite scene in Elle Kennedy’s book will make it on screen. We’re talking about none other than Hannah’s memorable locker room confrontation with Garrett (Belmont Cameli).
An Off Campus fan account spotted an unofficial casting call for a “hockey locker room scene” in Canada, where the show is currently filming. In a Facebook post that has since been made private, the user said they were putting out the request on behalf of their agent. It said that they’re looking for “college-aged boys” with “athletic builds.” It also referred to Off Campus‘ working title, “Lillian Way.”
“This will be full nudity – front and back will be exposed,” the screenshot reads. If it’s legit, the shoot will take place at the Pacific Coliseum in September. “They will be changing in the locker room when a female cast member walks in. This is a famous scene from the books that they want to make sure they portray correctly.”

“Famous” is right! How could any reader forget the locker room scene toward the end of the first Off Campus book? Hannah finds out that Garrett invoked a “campus-wide hands-off law” on her — despite the fact that they broke up — and she’s so furious that she bursts into the Briar U Hawks’ locker room to give him a piece of her mind.
Garrett is completely unperturbed in his undressed state, unlike some of his teammates. In fact, he’s happy to see her and explains that he did it because Hannah still loves him.
Garrett grills Hannah about why she really ended their relationship. The comedic moment turns into a major turning point when she spills. Seeing Hannah as a distraction from Garrett’s hockey career, Garrett’s dad (who will be played by Steve Howey) threatened to cut his son off if she didn’t break up with him. The turmoil doesn’t last too long, and of course, Kennedy gives Hannah and Garrett a happy ending.
