Celebrities are using the one-arm lift trend as an opportunity to flex their muscles — and their relationships.
Well, not all of them are showcasing their real-life love with the TikTok trend, but that doesn’t make it any less swoonworthy. Take Lili Reinhart and Tom Bateman, who used it to promote their upcoming romance, The Love Hypothesis. In the mega-viral video, Bateman literally sweeps the actress off her feet and into a bridal carry while Beyonce‘s “All Night” plays in the background.
It got the fan reaction they were likely hoping for. “ONE ARM????” one wrote in the comment, while another added. “YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW LOUD THE GASP THAT JUST LEFT MY BODY WAS.”

Whether or not Nikki Rodriguez and Noah LaLonde are simply using the trend to bring attention to their show — the second season of My Life with the Walter Boys drops on August 28 — or are hard-launching their relationship is up for debate. (They play love interests in Netflix’s teen rom-dram, but fans have speculated that they’re dating in real life.)
Either way, we’re here for it! After LaLonde effortlessly lifts his costar, the video captures Rodriguez jokingly trying to do the same thing. “1 for 2,” she captioned the post.
