‘Love Island USA’ Season 7 Stars Reveal Shocking Moments That Got Cut From Reunion
Whether you loved it or hated it, Love Island USA Season 7 had plenty of buzzworthy moments — so many that it was impossible to bring them all up in the reunion episode.
After it aired on August 25, several of the former contestants have spoken out about what did and didn’t make it into the reunion’s final cut. Jeremiah Brown says that the Season 7 stars’ NDAs expire in a year, according to a screen-recorded livestream, so we likely won’t have more reunion details until then.
Nonetheless, fans have been gathering bits and pieces of behind-the-scenes info from the Islanders’ social media, which you’ll find below.
Austin had a crashout
Ahead of the reunion, Zac Woodworth spilled that an unexpected person crashed out while it was filming. However, no such thing actually took place when the episode aired on August 25, which led us to believe that the scene didn’t make it into the final cut. Now, the mystery has been solved, at least when it comes to the identity of the person who lost it.
After watching the reunion episode and noticing the moment was missing, OG contestant Austin Shepard came forward as the culprit. JD Dodard and Chris Seeley joined Austin for a joint live stream, and the former said he “turned it off when they cut out [Austin’s] crashout.” JD joked, “I was like, this was going to be so bad… I was so ready.”
When the duo asked Austin if he would do a tell-all — we still don’t know what provoked him — the Season 7 star said that there was “reasoning” behind it being excluded. He teased that he’ll provide fans with more details eventually, but likely not all of them.

Nic & other Islanders spoke out in support of Olandria
In a screen-recorded TikTok Q&A, Jeremiah revealed that Nic Vansteenberghe defended Olandria Carthen during the reunion, though it didn’t make it into the episode. The fan’s question didn’t call out a specific moment, but they were likely referring to when Olandria confronted Huda Mustafa about standing up to racism in her fanbase.
Further, fans screenshot a TikTok comment from Savanna “Vanna” Einerson. If it’s legit, she said that she showed support for Olandria, too.
Ace was asked about the Heart Rate challenge
Fans finally know what really went down during the Heart Rate challenge, which was shown in full during the reunion. After the Islanders watched it back, most of the discussion was led by Chelley Bissainthe and Huda. The former alleged that the latter went too far with her partner, Ace Greene, by licking the front of his underwear. It appears that Ace, however, wasn’t spared from the conversation like the reunion suggested.
“Guys, they did question Ace about the Heart Rate, but I’m going to let him say his piece because that’s his experience,” Jeremiah said in a screen-recorded TikTok Live, which Hannah Fields and Iris Kendall joined him for.
Should these moments have made it into the reunion? Let us know in the comments!
