‘Bachelor in Paradise’: Jess & Spencer Give Update on Moving Plans After Finale Engagement

[WARNING: This post contains MAJOR spoilers from the Season 10 finale of Bachelor in Paradise.]
Jess Edwards and Spencer Conley found lasting love on Season 10 of Bachelor in Paradise. The couple got engaged during the Tuesday, September 2, finale and are now finally able to go public with their continued romance.
Although Jess was initially hesitant about taking such a big step after such a short amount of time, she happily accepted Spencer’s proposal and is ready to uproot her life to be with her man.
“I’m moving here to Dallas at the beginning of the year, which is really exciting,” Jess, who currently lives in California, told Swooon. “We talked about San Diego, as well, but I think it just makes the most sense for our future to be here in Dallas right now. We’re super excited to start looking for places and all the things. It makes us so giddy. We have a Pinterest board going.”
Now that they’re able to drive around together in public, the lovebirds are planning to start checking out some places as soon as possible. The show was filmed back in May and June, so they’ve had to spend the last three months in hiding before the proposal aired on television.
“We’ve been on seven trips since filming wrapped,” Spencer shared. “We bought disguises and tried to go the disguise route. We looked ridiculous.” Jess added, “We were like, this is bringing more attention to us than just being normal.”

When the cameras stopped rolling, the two had to fly out of Costa Rica in separate airports, but Jess’ layover was conveniently right in Dallas. “I did not get on my return flight home,” she laughed. “Took a little pivot and we got to spend an entire week together right off the show, which was so nice to just slow down and spend time together. I got to meet his dog. I got to meet his mom, his brother, his grandparents, right off the bat, and that was so nice. Then after that we went back and forth.”
While she says it’s “obviously hard” to have to hide out, she admitted, “I’m grateful for this time because it’s just time for us to spend with each other, focus on building a solid relationship, and continue to build our relationship.”
So far, Jess has met all of Spencer’s family, and he’s met her grandmother, aunt, and cousins. However, they’ve had to hold off on Spencer meeting Jess’ parents in person because she’s from such a small town.
“We knew that even if we were driving down the street, people are going to know because they know my car and they’re going to see me and him,” Jess explained. “But they obviously met on FaceTime.” Once they film the Bachelor in Paradise reunion later this week, they’ll be flying directly to Tennessee so he can finally meet mom and dad in person.
“We’re looking forward to going on walks, grocery shopping, going to the movies, going on a date night,” Spencer said. “We haven’t had a date yet, like an actual outside world date, so we’re just looking forward to all the normal things.”
