‘Stranger Things’ Star Millie Bobby Brown Shares First Glimpse of Baby Girl With Jake Bongiovi
Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi are in parent mode!
A few weeks after the couple revealed that their family had grown by one, the Stranger Things actress shared a glimpse of her parenthood journey. Brown posted an Instagram carousel on September 1, and in between a few selfies and landscape photos, she included an image of Bongiovi carrying their newly adopted daughter.
Brown’s husband appears to be walking toward a plane on an airport tarmac. In one hand, Bongiovi holds a baby carrier, which he faces away from the camera. The opening was also covered by a white blanket, keeping their baby girl out of view. Brown captioned it with three aptly chosen emojis: “🍼✨🐥.”
Fans were quick to react to that particular photo in the comments section. “Jake on dad duty we love to see it,” one user wrote.

It’s the first time that Brown or Bongiovi have revealed anything about their recent adoption, beyond their initial announcement. “This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” the couple wrote in a joint Instagram post on August 21. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy.”
Despite the fact that the couple are keeping their baby out of the public eye, Brown hasn’t been shy about her desire to start a family. “I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it’s so important to start a family for me personally,” she said during a March 2025 appearance on the Smartless podcast. “It’s a huge thing. Jake was like, ‘We cannot do that until we get married.’ So that was his thing.”
“My mom actually had her first child at 21 and my dad was 19,” the actress, 21, added. “This has been my thing since before I met Jake. I wanted to be a mom just like the way my mom was to me.”
Noting that she and Bongiovi, 23, are both one of four children, Brown also revealed that she wants a big family of her own, and she was open to adopting to achieve that goal. “For me, I don’t see having your own child as really any different as adopting,” she explained. “I feel like anything’s out because my home is full of love for anyone and anything. And so that is kind of what we stand by. Jake and I, the energy in our house is the door is always open.”
Brown and Bongiovi were first connected in 2021 before he popped the question in 2023. They married in secret about a year later.
