During Season 8 of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, fans were introduced to Aviva and Stig, a couple meeting for the first time IRL after getting to know each other online. Ahead of her trip, Aviva told viewers, “I’m putting a lot on the line, but Stig is 100% worth all the risk, and I just really hope that when we’re together, we click and we can start that future that I’ve always dreamed of.” (Spoilers ahead!)

Are Aviva and Stig still together?
Aviva and Stig are no longer together. After Stig proposed, Aviva had to return to the States. While Stig visited after filming ended, they split three months after their engagement. Aviva revealed, “I started to really see a side of him… Some days he seemed like so serious, but then he would go missing on me all night. I’m not sure if he went as far as, you know, having sex with somebody else or like physically cheating, but I definitely think he was talking to other women.”
Eventually, Aviva told Stig she knew what he was doing, and told him to “just end things.” When he responded, he called things off, blaming her for their problems. “He finally texted me and was like, ‘I can’t do this,'” Aviva explained. “He blamed it all on me. He said he just didn’t trust me. Like it was crazy. I think he’s projecting. He knows he did me dirty and he just is hiding from it.”
When did Stig propose to Aviva?
Stig proposed to Aviva during Episode 16, when they visited the Mayan ruins. He told her, “I want to tell you something, since the first time I met you, babe, at the airport, something just made me feel like you’re the one for real. I knew I was going to do this. I know you were scared, but I actually fell in love with you, Aviva, and I want to be with you for the rest of my life.”
Why does Aunt Spring think Stig cheated on Aviva?
From the start of the season, Aviva’s Aunt Spring has been a clear opponent to their relationship. Aunt Spring and her other niece, Corinth, confronted Aviva with evidence that Stig had been cheating on her with another woman (Corinth’s friend), and even called that woman to hear her side of the story.
While they made it clear that this woman had no reason to lie about spending time with Stig, he claimed that she was just a fan. Ultimately, Aviva told viewers, “I do believe that Stig has been faithful.” Whether he has been or not is anyone’s guess. Aviva explained, “Stig and I had a rough few days dealing with all of these rumors about him. It was really hard and embarrassing for me to have to hear about all of that stuff.”
How did Aviva and Stig meet?
Of course, Aunt Spring was also involved in the beginning of Aviva and Stig’s relationship. Aviva told viewers that she first met Stig when he slid into her DMs. “My Aunt Spring lived in Belize for a while, and I went to go visit her,” she explained. “When I had got home, I posted a video. I tagged Belize as the location, and Stig saw it and messaged me. While I was in Belize, I actually was introduced to his music, so I was fangirling a little bit.”
According to the couple, they were both in relationships when they started chatting (as friends) two years ago. However, she revealed at the start of the season, “Six months ago, things heated up and got a little bit more romantic.” She confessed, “Even though I’ve never met him in person, I have completely fallen for him.”
Are Aviva and Stig expecting a baby?
At the end of Episode 15, Aviva revealed, “I’m about to take this pregnancy test.” According to the couple, they did not use protection at the start of their trip. Stig told viewers, “Aviva is really hoping that she’s pregnant, but if she’s not, I’d be a little relieved.”
During Episode 16, the couple took a test that revealed only one line. Aviva confessed, “I feel more let down than I expected… Without a baby, it’s hard to know how serious he is about our future.”
