Hunter Fieri & Wife Tara Give Glimpse at Unexpected Way They Spent Wedding Night
Hunter Fieri and his new wife, Tara Fieri (née Bernstein), are continuing to give fans a look inside their wedding day. After sharing photos and details from the nuptials, they’re now giving some insight into how they spent their first night as husband and wife.
Rather than booking the honeymoon suite in a fancy hotel, Hunter, whose dad is Guy Fieri, and Tara had an unconventional first evening together, and they documented it in a video that they shared on Instagram.
The couple slept in a teepee after their wedding. With the big day taking place outside on Hunter’s family’s ranch, it was fitting that they embraced the great outdoors for their first night as a married couple.
“Who needs a hotel when you have a teepee on your wedding night?” Tara wrote across the video, which showed Hunter leading her inside the hut. The two weren’t exactly roughing it, though, as the teepee was complete with a regular bed and customized blanket with their initials. The bed was surrounded by candles and the ceiling of the abode was adorned with lights.

“A dream country side wedding @hunterfieri,” she captioned the clip, which included a shot of Hunter showing off his wedding ring at the end.
Hunter and Tara tied the knot on August 30, less than two years after he popped the question over Thanksgiving weekend in 2023. Hunter recently shared their sneak peek wedding video on Instagram and gushed, “The day I married my best friend, the love of my life…❤️ our wedding vision came to life and it was everything we dreamed of. We worked so hard for it and I’m proud of us.”
He also praised Tara for how much work she put into planning the special occasion. “We did it, @tarafieri you poured your heart into every detail,” he continued. “Surrounded by family and friends, it couldn’t have been more perfect. The vows, the food, the dance moves. We’re still floating on cloud 9 and will remember that day forever.”
