‘Outlander: Blood of My Blood’ Stars Talk Swoonworthy Faves, ‘ACOTAR’ & More (VIDEO)
Outlander‘s prequel spinoff, Outlander: Blood of My Blood, has easily captured our hearts as it chronicles the intersecting love stories of Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire’s (Caitriona Balfe) parents.
While the show may have kicked off with Claire’s parents, Julia (Hermione Corfield) and Henry (Jeremy Irvine) occupying World War I England, the action quickly shifted to the 18th-century Scottish Highlands, as they were whisked away through time at the standing stones of Craigh Na Dun. Their journey may have torn them apart, but it put them in the path of Jamie’s parents, Ellen (Harriet Slater) and Brian (Jamie Roy), just as their forbidden romance was kicking off.
And despite the drama these characters may face in the series, the stars were all laughs as they played a round of Knock Your Blocks Off: Swooon Edition during which they addressed rom-coms, ACOTAR, and much more. As the quartet pulls blocks from our heart-shaped tower, Slater was first up, prompted to share the most romantic TV or movie line she could think of.

Corfield was quick to step in and say, “What about Pride and Prejudice? I like his speech… Mr. Darcy’s speech.”
“When he comes to her at dawn,” Slater clarified before she recited the words uttered by Matthew Macfadyen in the 2005 film adaptation. “You have bewitched me, body and soul, and I love, I love, I love you,” Slater delivered to resounding laughter.
As Roy plucked a block that asked whether he believed in love at first sight, he served up an interesting idea as he stated, “Oh absolutely, yeah, absolutely. Although… I mean, Disney stories tell you to be aware of this in Frozen, right?” He shared, citing Anna’s ill-fated romance with Hans. So, while Roy suggested people lead with caution, he does buy into the concept of love at first sight.
Meanwhile, Corfield kept on theme with her answer to favorite TV couple, “I like Shiv and [Tom] in Succession,” she mused, bringing up Macfadyen again. And Irvine managed to pick a block that prompted him to reveal which Pride and Prejudice adaptation he prefers, the 1995 miniseries or the 2005 film. “I like Colin Firth‘s one,” Irvine declared, deviating from the crowd a bit.
