Fans first met Jasmine’s new beau, Matt Branistareanu, during 90 Day: The Last Resort Season 2, when Jasmine approached her then-husband, Gino, about opening their relationship. During the Tell All, Jasmine revealed that she was pregnant with Matt’s baby, not Gino’s. Throughout this season of Happily Ever After?, Jasmine set the record straight on the nature of their relationship.
Throughout Season 9 of Happily Ever After?, fans watched as the divide between Jasmine and Gino grew, while Jasmine and Matt got closer. That is, until she declined his proposal before the Tell All. Are Jasmine and Matt still together?
During the Season 9 finale, Matt proposed to Jasmine, but she told him that she couldn’t say yes or no at that time. Since then, she has revealed on social media that she does not want to get married again after her second marriage to Gino fell apart. Following the Tell All, where Jasmine told her costars that Matt had cheated on her with someone named Elizabeth, she posted her candid feelings about their relationship on Instagram.
On November 30, Jasmine wrote, “After moving to a country that I had never been before, with no family/ friends; and being rejected and treated like a rotten egg that my soon to be ex husband felt disgusted towards…my expectations with men are not even zero. What you’re gonna see tonight at the TELL ALL is the reason why I’m NOT committing/ marrying to any person ever! You could buy me a castle in the moon, I honestly couldn’t care less. I don’t care about 👱🏻♂️his family beliefs, peer pressure or people’s promises ‘I love you now and I’ve changed’ The only real love I’ve ever experienced is the one from my mother and my children (including Coco 🐶) besides that…I don’t believe anything from anyone. Yes 👱🏻♂️ might be a good man (this because nowadays the bar is so f$&@ low) but I’m at that point where ‘men’ is a red flag all by itself. All men suck… some just think they suck less.”
That being said, Jasmine confirmed on November 20 that she and Matt just moved into a house together, causing fans to wonder what is actually going on behind the scenes. As one fan wrote, “I’m so confused. I love you Jasmine, but like your post say that you’re with him and then you post something like this. I’m so confused.”
What is Jasmine and Matt’s official relationship status?
Earlier in the season, Jasmine revealed that she and Matt had yet to directly define their relationship. This came soon after Jasmine announced she was moving to Florida with Matt and sat down with Gino to reveal that she was pregnant with Matt’s baby on the show. Jasmine wrote to her followers, “I don’t know what Matt is in my life… I mean like how to refer to him. Maybe you can help me to give him an official title while I figure things out.”
Based on his social media comments, it appeared that Matt was still trying to pursue a relationship with Jasmine, but she was still caught up with Gino. In the comments of one of Jasmine’s posts, Matt wrote, “I love you, and I’ve waited patiently because my heart believes in us. But it hurts to feel like my love isn’t met with the same care. I wish it could be easy, but begging for love wears on me.”

In her own caption, Jasmine poured out her heart, seemingly admitting that she still loved Gino. She stated, “Even when people don’t understand, moving forward isn’t easy when your heart is still tied to someone you loved. Grieving a relationship leaves wounds that make it hard to open up, even to someone who has fought so hard for your love 🥺 someone who shares a child with you. I’m taking all the time in the world to figure it out. Some days, the pain feels unbearable, and you wonder if your heart will ever stop breaking… or if you’ll ever truly love again.”
How did Jasmine and Matt meet?
Jasmine and Matt met at a Planet Fitness while she was still in a relationship with Gino. According to Gino, Jasmine had been seeing Matt long before they began their open marriage on 90 Day: The Last Resort.
In a “gotcha moment,” he stated, “I recently found out that you were cheating on me with him four months before I agreed to open marriage.” Jasmine has denied any wrongdoing on her part, stating that Gino’s accusation was completely untrue.
Are Jasmine and Matt having another baby?
Currently, Jasmine and Matt have a daughter named Matilda, who was born in April 2025. Following September 7’s episode of Happily Ever After?, Jasmine posted a selection of mirror selfies featuring a baby bump, causing fans to question whether she and Matt are pregnant again. Jasmine later confirmed to Swooon that she does not want to have any more children. She explained, “I’m almost 40. I don’t want to go through another pregnancy. I’m so tired.”
