‘General Hospital’ Star Steve Burton & Wife Michelle Make ‘Big Announcement’
Steve Burton and his wife, Michelle Burton (née Lundstrom), have been blissfully living in their honeymoon phase ever since their surprise May 2025 wedding. The General Hospital star has truly found his soulmate in the Barbeque Showdown alum.
On September 9, the couple, fresh off their getaway to the place they said “I do,” made an exciting announcement about their future. The Burtons filmed an adorable video to reveal their plans.
“So, here’s the big announcement,” Steve begins the Instagram video. Michelle cuts in with a joke, “Sylvester Stallone is coming over on Sunday for sauce.” That’s not the big reveal, but Michelle’s not losing hope that it’ll happen someday!
“The big announcement is that we are teaming up,” Steve continues. “We’ve created a Reset and Rise Challenge 21-Day Fall Challenge.” Michelle adds, “Twenty-one days with us, and it will honestly change your life.” The GH actor, who is also a mindset, fitness, and nutrition coach, points out that he’s helped “thousands” of people “lose weight and change their lives.”

This includes Michelle! “In case you didn’t know, I’m an Italian who loves to eat, so I’ve mastered the art of creating recipes that make you feel like you’re not missing out, eating delicious foods, staying on track, getting healthy, losing weight, and it becomes a lifestyle,” she reveals, adding that she’s lost 13 pounds.
Fans in the comments were excited about the couple’s venture, but many thought they were making another announcement! “Well I thought you were going to announce a new addition to the family. However, this is great too!!!” one fan wrote. Another commented, “I thought there was a baby on the way.” One fan followed with, “Ugh I thought your big news was that Michele is pregnant lol.”
In May, the Burtons tied the knot in an intimate Malibu wedding, with just family and close friends. After their wedding, the newlyweds went to Maui for their honeymoon. They took another trip two months later with their blended family, which included two of Steve’s three kids from his previous marriage and Michelle’s two daughters.
