‘General Hospital’s Steve Burton Drops Honeymoon Details After Michelle Lundstrom Wedding
Steve Burton and Michelle Lundstrom are kicking off their summer in the best way—as husband and wife. The couple said “I do” in a surprise wedding in Malibu on May 17 and had time for a romantic getaway in between their busy schedules.
The newlyweds opened up about their honeymoon once they returned. Burton and Lundstrom definitely have that post-wedding glow!
The couple shared a compilation video of their honeymoon in Maui, Hawaii. Burton and Lundstrom vacationed at the Montage Kapalua Bay resort. They showed off their amazing ocean view and their time lounging by the pool. Burton and Lundstrom also took trips hiking around the island, followed by romantic dinners together.
The General Hospital star and his new wife captured a gorgeous rainbow during their travels around Maui. Throughout their getaway, Burton and Lundstrom couldn’t help but sneak kisses and show off their love for each other. “Maui is magical. Our honeymoon was an absolute dream. @montagekapalua you are pure paradise,” they captioned their video. Burton’s longtime GH costar Laura Wright commented, “So beautiful.”
Burton and Lundstrom married just four months after getting engaged. The couple, who went public with their romance in 2024, had a private, family-only wedding ceremony, followed by a reception with just 45 of their loved ones. This included Lundstrom’s mother, who conquered her fear of flying after 18 years to attend her daughter’s wedding ceremony.
“This day isn’t just about a ceremony,” Burton told People. “It’s the beginning of forever with the love of my life.” He gushed that Lundstrom, of Barbecue Showdown fame, is the “most amazing, beautiful, and selfless woman I’ve ever known.”
Their kids were a part of their special day. Burton has three kids, Makena, Brooklyn, and Jack, with ex-wife Sheree Burton. Lundstrom has two daughters, Lilah and Hannah, from a previous relationship.
