Are Chase Chrisley & Jodi Laine Fournerat Still Together After She Rejected His Proposal?

The Season 1 finale of The Chrisleys: Back to Reality featured a scene between Jodi Laine Fournerat and Nanny Faye Chrisley where the former admitted that she’d recently turned down boyfriend Chase Chrisley‘s attempt at a proposal. But were the two able to make it work and stay together following her rejection?
Chrisley and Fournerat started dating in 2023 after he ended his engagement to Emmy Medders. Scroll down to find out if they’re still together, why she turned down his proposal, and more.
Are Chase Chrisley and Jodi Laine Fournerat still together?
Yes, Chrisley and Fournerat are still together. Although they did not get engaged when he popped the question, they have continued their relationship and are still a couple.
On September 1, Fournerat posted a photo dump of pictures with Chrisley, which she captioned, “My honey.”
Unfortunately, there have been some hurdles with Fournerat becoming acclimated into the Chrisley family. She started dating Chrisley when his parents were in prison, so Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley had not spent much time with her when the proposal episode was filmed over the summer.

“I don’t know Jodi,” Todd said. “Jodi was there the day that we got home, but that was five minutes, I think, that I spoke to her. There’s been really no interaction between us and Jodi.”
Fournerat weighed in on the situation and said she worries that Chrisley’s issues with some of his family members, particularly sister Savannah Chrisley, have taken a toll on her ability to form a relationship with the family. “I feel things are said about me without actually knowing me,” she shared. “Whenever other people in the family aren’t very fond of him, I’m linked to that. Maybe I’m not what they want me to be or whatever just because they may disagree with Chase.”
Why did Jodi Laine Fournerat turn down Chase Chrisley’s proposal?
Fournerat explained to Nanny Faye why she turned down the proposal during the Back to Reality episode. It had nothing to do with her feelings for Chrisley, but simply the fact that the timing was not right.
She said that Chrisley was taking a shower and told her they needed to talk afterwards. “So, he gets out, he told me to close the bedroom door, and he sits on the bed, and he starts off by saying, ‘You know how much I love you right?’ And immediately I said, ‘What did you do?’” Fournerat recalled.
When Chrisley got up and started “to pull something out of his pocket,” his girlfriend “knew immediately” what was happening. “I turned around so that I wouldn’t see the ring or anything,” she said. “And I was like, ‘Chase, get up.’ He was kneeling right there and trying to continue with his little speech.”
She told him, “We’re not doing this right here, we’re not doing this right now,” and said she wanted the moment to be special when he actually did propose. Fournerat assured Chrisley she wasn’t turning down his proposal, she was just “turning down the environment.”
She reiterated in a confessional, “I didn’t say no because I don’t wanna be proposed to by Chase. I just said no to the environment and the whole scenario of him trying to pop the question in our bedroom.”
Why did Chase Chrisley and Emmy Medders break up?
Before he started dating Fournerat, Chrisley was in a relationship with Emmy Medders. They started dating in 2020, got engaged in 2022, and announced their split in July 2023. They’ve both said that the split was mutual.
“Our entire relationship, it wasn’t all bad times,” Chrisley explained on his sister’s podcast. “I got a lot of s**t that I’m dealing with. She’s got a lot of s**t she’s dealing with. She just chose to leave me while I was dealing with my s**t. But we mutually agreed to just part ways.”

Although he didn’t get specific about his and Medders’ issues, he added, “There’s a lot of dirty s**t that went down that should have been handled differently. The lack of respect was not there.” He also admitted to “making mistakes” in the relationship as well.
Chrisley pointed to his parents’ prison sentences as a turning point in the relationship. “I did act out of character. I got drunk and said s**t I shouldn’t have said,” he continued. “But I stand by everything I said. I should have said it when I was in the right headspace, my delivery could have been different. But I’m good with what I said.”
