Chase Chrisley Gives Rare Romance Update & Reveals If Girlfriend Will Be on Family’s Show

Chase Chrisley and Jodi Laine Fournerat have mostly kept their relationship private since they started dating in 2023. Now, they’re opening up about their romance like never before.

In a new interview, Chrisley gushed over how supportive Fournerat has been amid some of the toughest years of his life, and also revealed whether we’ll be seeing her on his family’s upcoming new reality show.

Chrisley credits Fournerat with helping him get sober (he revealed at the end of March that he was one-month alcohol-free), and said she was a support system for him when his parents, Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley, were in prison. Chrisley’s mom and dad spent two-and-a-half years behind bars before being pardoned by Donald Trump in May.

“Without her support throughout the last two years of my parents being gone, I really don’t know where I would be, if I would even be here,” Chrisley admitted to People.

Fournerat added that she helped push Chrisley to create his new zero-alcohol sparkling water brand due to the uncertainty of his family’s future. “You never know what’s going to happen and what the future’s going to hold,” she explained. “So yeah, it was super encouraging for him to figure out other business deals, and whatever else he enjoyed, and felt like it could turn into a future for him.”

Chrisley added, “She’s had plenty of opportunities and plenty of reasons to leave me. She stuck with me through the hardest time of my life. There’s no way I would’ve quit drinking and got sober if it wasn’t for her. At the end of the day, I made the decision for myself, but without her support, it wouldn’t have happened. My vision had been so cloudy and foggy for so long because I had been drinking and doing the TV lifestyle.”

Reality television isn’t over for the Chrisleys, though, as a new Lifetime docuseries will document everything they’ve recently been through. And, yes, Fournerat is “in every episode,” according to her boyfriend.

“Chase reminded me, he was like, ‘You’re part of my life, which means you need to be a part of the show, because it’s based on my life. I want you to be a part of it.,'” the influencer explained. “He obviously let me make that decision. He didn’t tell me what I could and couldn’t do, but he was like, ‘I would love for you to be a part of it.'”

When Chrisley and Fournerat met, she was living in Louisiana while he was in Nashville. They met through mutual friends and dated long-distance for a year before she moved to be with him.

Of their decision to keep their relationship mostly private, Chrisley explained, “I’ve already given a lot of my privacy away that I’m not going to get back. And so I think some things are more valuable, and it doesn’t open us up to an outsider coming in trying to hurt or mess up what we’ve got going on. So I think that’s why we’ve stayed a little more private. I mean, we’ll post every now and then, but I’d rather be happy in person than be happy on Instagram.”
