How do you apply to be on Love Is Blind?

Whether you’re applying for Love Is Blind or Squid Game: The Challenge, www.netflixreality.com is your one-stop shop for the streamer’s reality TV casting. Once you’re on the casting website, click “Submit Your Video” in the top right-hand corner. Don’t worry, clicking the button does not automatically force you to send in a video. Instead, the next page lists all of the shows currently casting, allowing you to submit to as many shows as you want with one application. This means you can apply for Love Is Blind, Too Hot to Handle, The Ultimatum, and even The Circle all at once!

Is Love Is Blind currently casting?

Yes, Love Is Blind is currently casting in five major cities! According to Kinetic Content Casting, “The Love Is Blind casting team is actively accepting applications in five new cities! Tell your friends, family, and loved ones who are ready to take the ultimate leap of faith to apply.” These cities include Philadelphia, Philadelphia; Austin, Texas; St. Louis, Missouri; New Orleans, Louisiana; and Charleston, South Carolina. While the casting team has set its sights on these five cities for now, that does not mean that singles from other states are barred from applying. If you’re looking to enter the pods, we say go for it, regardless!

Who is eligible to apply for Love Is Blind?

According to Netflix, there are only two major requirements to send in an application: you must be an adult, and you must live in one of four countries. As they put it, “Netflix Reality wants to see the real you…in one minute or less. To be considered, submit a video being your fabulous self… No ring light, no glam. Just. Be. You. The real you must be at least 18 years old and a resident of the US, Canada, UK, or Ireland.”

What questions are on the Love Is Blind casting application?

The Love Is Blind application begins with an “easy-peasy” section asking for “basic info” like your name, pronouns, and place of residence. After that, they (optionally) ask for your social media handles, warning, “Totally optional, but we might snoop around!” After that, it’s time for your big moment in the spotlight.

Prompting applicants for a short, personality-filled video, Netflix writes “show us the real you” before asking applicants to upload a video. While there are no specific rules for the video, applicants are guided to shoot the video vertically, use their selfie cam, make it one minute or less, and include their name, age, and where they’re from. After a couple of format and size notes, you are ready to go!
